I need a little help here... Looks like down the street here a skincare spa opened up. they had banners and flags out front indicating massage, skincare, footspa, and tanning... all services for men and women. i wanted to check it out primarily for the tanning, maybe a massgae. when i went in, it was bascially a lobby with a office behind a sliding glass window. the owner/consultant opened and i asked about tanning. she pointed to the flyer in the lobby table. as i was looking it over, she stated its all by appointment. i asked "even tanning?" she said yah.
this just didnt seem typical business to me. you need an appt for eveything? was there a hidden message here? if i was going for a massage, how do you hint that you may be interested in a little more? (if its offered) i want to use all available services to their full potential ya know? any clues as in to tell?

if this helps to Los Angeles area... its in SGV area (Valley Blvd... notorious for AMP right?)

Ask if they do a sensual massage

I highly doubt that you'd get any "sensual" services there.   I mean, if they wanted your business, they would have taken you right on the spot.  If you do get a massage there, if other services are offered, they'll be offered.  Or you can ask.  Worse thing they can say it no.  Also, if it's  on on Valley Blvd it is most likely legit,  considering the area and making themselves so highly visible with banners, flags and such.

I think at the very most, now that the business is starting up, they will be strictly legit. They are trying build up their name. If business is doing well they will be legit, but once the business begin to decline more is probably will be available in the future.

FYI: Most AMP in SGV are legit. I'm sure there are some, but I haven't found any. In SGV most provider service out of an apartment/condo.
