TER has no standards or policies for outing someone's handle. In fact, TER leans towards anonymous, hence the alias system. If someone was outed (sounds like their main identity revealed) and they corrected their actions in the future, aren't they still outed?
Just wondering what you think of the use of an alias, it seems alot of the sentiment is negative on guys hiding behind an alias. What do you think the positive and negatives of this are. Especially if it is an important topic.
Aliases are fun, topical, protect the innocent/known associates, allow for general anonymity if asking a possibly controversial question. They Allow one to play devils advocate in heated debate without residual fallout. And simply help keep this kind of discussion board alive and active.
TER could have been exercising just as heavy hand "moderating" back when we were allowed infinite pseudonyms. Now we got "1" alter ego to play with, regularly disappearing threads, and once vigorous discussion boards requiring weeks at a time to see a thread disappear off the page. And don't even get me started about making an "edit" to a post.
Using an alias is fine and dandy for all the uses you mentioned BUT when it is used in a way to malign people or to hijack posts/threads then it becomes a problem and it's intended use is moot.. just my two cents..

over rated. Hijack alert! ![]()
They may well be ,but you wont know that because you csn neither afford them nor will they sink so low to see you.Get back to you potty training.
What is with third graders and you ? I guess that is why you really do need use an alias. Still no K-dolls
harass people with your multiple aliases, you decided that moderators of TER are heavy handed.
I NEVER used any of my aliases for ad hominem attacks. And if I did go ad hominem it was after
"they" had done so first.
The problems could have largely been solved by simply censoring "ad hominem" attacks, and then "moderating" if recidivism exists.
This idiot "2.0" fix is throwing the baby out with the fuck'n bath water.
Amen!
A lot of us want to be as private as possible while still enjoying the boards, and we are allowed to do that under TER rules. An alias allows people to speak the truth openly. This board has become so filled with k-knights that you say anything about a K-girl that isn't glowing and you take a pounding or get called a racist.
People using their real handles think they are so brave and superior, falling lockstep into being defenders of those poor, frail, maligned prostitutes. These are the guys who are screaming about the evils of BB and doing it themselves or calling out racists because their hearts are so pure. They cultivate a board image based on anonymity, but, like an alias, have no credibility because we don't know who you are or if you have ever spoken a word of truth in your life. But because you use a handle you are better than those who use an alias? You may be mentally unstable. You may be a criminal, but you come across as the nicest guy when you post. And you use your real handle so you've got credibility.
Remove the use of alias and all you will hear from us ladies will a lot of a self promotion.
LMAO - this thread is cracking me up! I would be happy if I could even figure out HOW to use my alias at all!!
You guys are funny and ALL riled up!
Thank you for the laughs ![]()
Lo
to reveal the truth about various aspects of the industry from BS and assumptions and ignorance. without getting possibly tortured by the industry thugs and agencies!.
If you can take more criticism and not devolve yourself into your other persona, everything you say is true but none of which you have done because you tend to act more like an ass instead of providing "the truth about various aspects of the industry from BS and assumptions and ignorance. without getting possibly tortured by the industry thugs and agencies!"
Put your money where your mouth is.

As an obsessive chronic unrepentant slanderer whose continuous abuse of the alias privilege resulted in many recent post yanked by the moderator you have earned dubious distinction that should have your TER handle outed and your privilege to post suspended until you can prove that you are capable of adhering to the basic principals of dialogue.
Based on your posts since your first appearance on this board less than a year ago you are being delusional in thinking that you have anything to expose or reveal regarding this industry that'll make you a target of retalliation. It is nothing but wishful thinking by someone whose boasts are baseless and words empty. While you talk too much ,you have nothing to say and even your make believe tales lack imagination and credibibilty.
Even my old neutered dog are not senile enough to stalk . Wishful thinking nope ,simply delusional.
Are you still begging me to buy you an Alex McQ shirt ? Do you also want me to give you some hobby money? I will hate to see you go without. Cant believe it you need me to clothe you ,have you no pride or sense of decency?
Were is your self respect.Begging for a shirt.
are among the privileges that TER offers its VIP members and there is good reason for this privilege to protect the identity and safeguard the privacy of those who wish to discuss sensitive topics, controversial issues or fear retaliation and ridicule for expressing unpopular views ,exposing wrongdoing , or supporting
Unfortunately there are always unintended consequences that result with every decisions including the use of aliases. Instead of using an aliases for the purpose aliases were allowed we have a growing number of Keyboard wannabe Talibans / UBLs hiding behind the Alias to hurl bombs and grenades ,insults and profanities towards those they disagree with or do not have the intellectual capacity to debate. These paper clowns have no right to use an Alias and their misuse and exploitation of the system should be rewarded by getting TER handle outed and their use of an alias suspended.
Using a single alias is a welcome change however the system is broken and needs to be fixed by the development and implementation of strict guidelines that raise the level and quality of the discussions and not continue protecting those who abuse the privilege and those who have nothing to offer or contribute other than insults.
Oceanpacific9 thanks for this post ,hopefully it can result in change in guidelines to elevate nature , quality and diversity of the dialogue, discussions and debates.

* No provider would use her real name. Most TER handles are aliases anyway. Have you ever seen BClinton or GBush for real?
* For me, the fun is to keep LE guessing, and the funniest alias is the guy who calls himself Kgirls.
* But then I have low IQ, so am puzzled by all the fuss, for or against.
* Btw, our founding fathers must be endowed with high IQ, thus thought they were typical sample of "all men created equal".
No fuss, just another day like every other day on TER LA DB.
