In coming for two nights at the end of next week.
Flying in to Long Beach.
I'm coming for an event on Friday night that is downtown.

So.: for my free time to be able to meet some of you gentlemen.. Where would you suggest staying?

Long beach?
Downtown?

I don't plan on renting a car.. So somewhere like Beverly Hills wouldn't really work for me..

Somewhere that I can walk to get some food and somewhere that you men like to visit us ladies. :)

Any advice is appreciated!

Some places:

Santa Monica promenade. places to stay along Ocean Blvd. or Sheraton Delfina all within walking distance.

LAX Century Blvd hotels or surrounding (doubletree etc.). convenient central area to drive to

Thanks for the suggestions, but like I mentioned - I don't plan on renting a car.

Santa Monica is far from downtown and I'm flying in to Long Beach, not LAX.. But I appreciate the suggestions. :)

Interesting you recommended LAX though I've been told more than a few times that guys didn't like to go there.

Alyssa, I am in LA tonight and decided to stay at the Custom Hotel.  If you ever need a hotel close to LAX give it a try.  Very convenient.  Sorry I'm not sure about where to stay around Long Beach.  I'm flying to Las Vegas tomorrow morning for meetings all day but looking for some fun things to do in the evening.  Staying at the Palazzo.  I actually come to Vegas fairly often and always looking to try different hotels and clubs.  Suggestions hotels and on fun clubs for a guy over 30?  Charlie

You do know that I live in Vegas and I am fun.. ;)

Hotels - cosmo, aria and the palazzo is one of my favs!

Clubs - that I can't help with.. I tend to stay away from them. :)

Alyssa, I see you are in Vegas and you definitely sound like fun.  Love to find a time to get together.  Either tomorrow or when I'm back during SEMA.  You really do sound terrific.

To everyone who wrote to me to not stay in downtown.. Lol.. I can't force the Friday event to move. So it is what it is. :)
