Finally after 7 years, I quit smoking! Although it has only been 4 days since I stopped smoking, however I feel so excited and great about it that I had to share it with you. I have to admit without the love and support of my friends and their constant complaints about my smoking, I would have not been able to do this.

Now I can play tennis everyday without thinking about smoking and having a shortness of breath. Nothing feels better than the fresh air in your lungs ( Well that's a lie, orgasm feels much better ;o)

My friends who smoked all tried to quit over and over again.  When they finally did they said "It was because I wanted to quit, not because of any body else!"

Now I'll challenge you to a best 2 outta 3 set match in tennis!!!!!

LOL about the fresh air comment since we still are in Los Angeles.

One thing that may help guard against any relapses is, having periodic parties, with friends, to celebrate your continued victory over cigarettes. At first it might be each week. Then as time goes by you might go to once a month. Continued support by, and celebration with friends is both a lot of fun, and a great defense against returning to smoking. ;)

OMG, honey where are you? When are you coming back? Miss you much

that's good news just try not to take on other habits like a friend of mine who started eating candies..lol

A GF of mine kept quitting smoking, then she'd start gaining weight and she'd start smoking again.  I finally concluded she was smoking just to stay thin, which isn't a very healthy diet plan.

So beside all the other difficulties in quitting, preventing weight gain is one you need to be prepared for since your appetite will probably improve.
