Maybe I'm lucky but for all the years that I have been doing this I've had only had a handful of cancellations and that came form the same girl. She's a agency girl so I guess they got a better offer so she dump me for a better payday. And the excuses were always lame..lol
What percentage of the time does your provider cancel? Not run late, just flat out cancel. It could be to sickness, time of the month, family issues etc. My experience so far seems to point to about 15 to 20% with about 50 appointments to date. In most cases, we have rescheduled. Seems like it doesn't matter if they are visiting, independent, agency, booker, etc. I have never had a problem rescheduling, so it is not a change of heart. I have a pretty tight schedule due to work, SO, vacations, and softball. Personally, I have canceled once due to illness and rescheduled.
Did I ever tell you about the time I picked up three civvies and a bottle of booze? They got drunk and the bottle was almost empty. Yep, it was the last of the fifth and the bags were loaded.
