i've had a couple of dates flake on me before, but always new dates, people i've never seen before.  but yesterday i had somebody with whom i had a fantastic first date totally flake on me, which was very strange and has left me scratching my head (and holding my balls lol).

i saw this lady late last year and i thought we hit it off.  i gave her a 10/10 review and we stayed in touch emailing back and fourth.  she seemed pleasant and nice and in one email even told me that she enjoyed our time together.  we even saw each other at a meet & greet afterwards, and she seemed genuinely happy to see me.  so i made a second date for yesterday afternoon, and she emailed me that she would text me that morning to confirm.

2 hrs before the date, nothing, so i text her.  1 1/2 hr before, nothing, so i email her.  1 hr before, no response, so i call her, text her again, email her again.  nothing.

15 minutes before the date, i get an email from her saying she forgot to confirm, but she's still up for a 1 pm date.  well, i live more than 15 minutes away and had assumed the date was off so i wasnt ready.  i emailed back asking if we could make it later in the afternoon.

you guessed it, no response.  called her, left a message.  nothing.  as of now, no response at all.

aside from being sexually frustrated (which i took care of myself, and i guess quite cheaper in the long run) i'm a little pissed that i have already given this girl high marks and talked her up on the boards.  then she flakes on me, and i have no recourse (other than complaining here) to re-adjust my review numbers for her, or at least add a flake warning on the original review.

as i said, this had happened a couple of times before (probably to all of us), but always with new ladies i had not seen before.   this is the first time an established relationship went totally south to flakesville so dramatically.  (too bad, because before yesterday, i was telling everyone she was one of my atf's!  now, not so much)

i wish ter had a flake board where we could post warnings and stories, but as we all know, if we don't actually have a date, we can't post a review.

oh well, onward to the next girl, and i thank you all for allowing me to complain.

You know I'd at least cancel! Then make it up if I could.

Oh well.

I pm'd you.

Let me know who the girl is.
There are only two girls you saw late last year and gave 10/10s.
So it's one or the other unless your re-review is already in queue with the readjusted scores and updated info.

apparently she changed her phone # and didn't give it to me.  i was texting and calling the wrong girl, lol.  who knows, she was very sorry in her new email so i will give her another try.

i shouldn't have complained out loud till i knew for sure she was shining me on.

mea culpa, never mind, the girl is still a 10/10.

She sends you an email 15 minutes before telling you she forgot to confirm.
You send her an email asking to reschedule and she goes silent?
You come here and create this thread and she suddenly sends you another email, saying she changed her phone number (but her email address didn't change and neither did yours or your phone number).

She knew how to get in touch with you when she wanted to (before you posted her name).
You got blown off. Probably for a better deal.

If you're alright with being treated like a piece of shit, go ahead and see her. It only reinforces the behavior

I believe you are being vindictive by posting it here though.
She probably had a bigger fish though.

I think I have to agree here.  Me personally I'd feel much better if I got a message that said "hey I'm sorry I have to cancel but one of my regulars requested a multi hour appointment".  I would have no problem with that at all.  I know what this is all about and if a provider has a chance to clear $1500.00 as opposed to $500.00 how could I ever hold that against her.

Honesty is the best policy IMHO.

She was still able to see him at his requested appointment time, but she just didn't confirm early enough for him to make it there on time.

In her email 15 minutes before the meeting, she said that she forgot to confirm via phone, but that doesn't change the fact that she ignored his email to reschedule and didn't get back to him until soon after this thread was created.

Perhaps she doubled booked and the "better deal" was unable to make it, which would explain why she confirmed so late.

Why she didn't reply to his email to reschedule for later that day is still a mystery.

He wasn't blown off, she just happened to confirm way too late for him to arrive on time.

She was still able to see him at his requested appointment time, but she just didn't confirm early enough for him to make it there on time.

There is no way you can actually believe that comment.  You can't get from Anaheim to Anaheim in 15 minutes.  Let's call this what it is.  She booked another appointment that ended up not coming through and then contacted the OP at the last minute.  WTF was the OP supposed to do?  Drive to some unknown area and get down on his knees and pray that he got an e-mail back 15 minutes before his appointment time.

If you send a provider a text 2 hours before, then 90 minutes before, then 1 hour before, then call, then text, then e-mail and never get a response you have been BLOWN OFF.  Let's call it what it was.
