An older gentleman friend of mine lost his wife to an illness some 4 years ago. He's in his late 50's but doesn't look that old, pretty nice guy, quiet, business owner, He laughs at my jokes, we hang out and have a lot in common, and he lives vicariously through me, knows about my hobbying, and admitted to me that he has a hard time with striking up a conversation with ladies, thinks a lot about his late wife when he does.
