Do most of the guys out there use a hobby phone? If so what kind?

Just pay cash, with no ID check, and refill by purchasing cards with time. Untraceable.

Also, when you register your prepaid phone, you should keep in mind to use an alias for your first and last name

ow a days you can get them even at your local drugstore for about $ 20. They are the old school flip phone (remember those lol) small enough to fit practically anywhere and you can text as well and they offer pictures, you buy a pre paid phone card with it, and done. I would recommend a reputable service as AT&T or Verizon to get great service, especially when traveling.

It's been reliable for many years.  

I prefer a phone that uses Verizon. Last year I tried AT@T for a while and the connections were crap. T-Mobile can also be good depending on your area.

Then again, I've got a really warped sense of humor.
