Hole in the wall joint but great burritos. Try the Hollenbeck… knock you on your ass.

Have you ever drank tequlia in the morning with Manuel?  What an experience.  Too bad he passed away.  Biggest burritos I have ever seen at his place.

Citrin, Hinano Cafe, HiHo Cheeseburger, Forma.

Reach under the counter and gave me a shot. He was a flirty old Bato.

The beef tenderloin is to die for and pile on that coleslaw ask for extra.

...Imani has pictured in her photo.  The food IS great but the place is more of a "dive" than a fancy restaurant.
BTW, they're not open 24/7 anymore.  They're only open until 3:00 pm weekdays and 5:00 pm on weekends.

I recommend it for breakfast but I don't know if Amani wants to stand in line outside:

It's owned by the same family that owns Mastro's.  It's tucked away in a 'secret' location between Neiman Marcus and Saks in the heart of Beverly Hills.

The Inn of the Seventh Ray in Topanga Canyon is a place that deserves your presence.

The Pantry way overrated, mediocre at best,  Inn of the 7th Ray fantastic setting good food not great in my opinion..  

Any locals eat here...

The Pantry is owned by former L.A. mayor Richard Riordan.  The main reason he bought The Pantry was because he wanted to build a high-rise office building next door to it.  He was limited in the number of stories he could build, so he bought The Pantry for its "air rights."
He transferred The Pantry's air rights to the lot next door and built his high-rise to the height he wanted.

 
It's a shame that for the sake of making a buck, Richard Riordan has run an L.A. classic into the ground.
