Over the years, I have seen a fair number of providers who refuse to see see black men? What's the deal? I don't really expect a provider to tell me why SHE doesn't see black clients, but perhaps you have heard through the grapevine what the "issue" with black men is. Thanks in advance

This makes no sense to me at all, but it does imply black men are not favored among providers, which if it's the case then say so. However don't correlate bbw women along side black men there is no correlation at all!! Why would hobbyist be pissed? You as a provider are discussing your list of clients to hobbyist now? Why is that their business in the first place? I would think they would be bothered at the fact you have several clients in numbers vs race.
It's just preference I'm sure. Your money works as well as from anyone else. If you think about who you yourself prefer to see and not see I'm sure you'll understand.

Although it sucks to stereotype, ask yourself this --
* Why are blacks 14% of the population but represent 40% of the prison population?
* Why is on average one in three black males will get arrested?
* Why is there a consistent education gap between blacks and other races?
* Why is it that black mothers have the highest percentage of being single compared to other races?
One of my best friends is black. He went to Harvard and got a Wharton MBA. BUT, even he occasionally as he calls it "reverts to ghetto speak". Is it because their culture glorifies guns and violence? Is it a result of America's history of slavery and blacks are trapped in a perpetual cycle of poverty? I don't know ..

At least one of the many supposedly historical figures upon which old St. Nick was supposedly based was Turkish or Mediterranean. Which would make him about as cherubic and Nordic as me.
I'm sure the fact that black women having a higher rate of single motherhood weighs heavily in providers preference. Really? FYI while it sucks, when you stereotype based on race, it makes you a bigot. I know, it sucks.

But let's take this a step further and humor the idea that criminality based on race is a factor in who a provider sees. Well then I would assume that these same providers would also shun whites in favor Asians who have an even smaller criminal footprint. Of course it has nothing to do with crime. It's just preference just as some guys only want blondes or thin or those with teeth.
Throwing out crime numbers completely ignore the social injustices that happen in this country. Let's take the stop and frisk law in New York. Where do you think cops are stopping and frisking? They do it in heavily black and Hispanic neighborhoods. Do they find drugs on some? Absolutely. But do you think they wouldn't also find a mountain of coke if they started stopping those white guys on wall st? Minorities are given longer sentences for the same crime. They have a higher conviction rate.

besides those stats are probably based on the general population if they were based on same income brackets the difference would be minimal.

Please do a search of this and the GD board for the last 5 years. This topic has come up only less often than the insufferable questions about rates.
The answer is always the same: There is no "issue" with black men. Given that a provider is providing the most intimate service one human can provide to another short of child birth she is allowed to use any criteria she wishes in order to decide who she sees. If her choice strikes any of the rest of us as "unfair" then too fucking bad; her body, her rules. There ain't no fair or unfair in such an irreducibly personal choice.
And for the record this topic (based on my non-empirical study) gets way more attention than it merits. In decades of P4P I can count on one hand the number of times I have been turned down because of race.
Now Can we please make this the first and last discussion of this topic in 2014?

It's their personal preference. Some don't like guys under 30 and others over 55. I apparently have no personal preference but we pick and chose too.
Regardless of heritage as long as your respectful there is no problem..
I know that providers who have pimps who are black tell them not to see other black men. Maybe competition… The myth is AA are more well endowed, but that is bs. The biggest dick I have ever seen was on a skinny white boy. I do not categorize, nor do I stereo type.
Some say they had a problem with a black man being cheap, rude, or violent, but this could happen with any ethnicity. I was robbed by a white man, I was beat by another white man, and attempted raped by another Caucasian man back when I worked for an agency in college, but that does not stop me from seeing this particular group of guys. After I quit the agency I never had any problems with gents. I just think those particular guys had issues, so why exclude an entire ethnic group because of 1 bad apple?
Find a provider who appreciates your business regardless of the hue of your skin. We are all human, and belong to the human race.
I'm a fellow AA hobbyists. So many great women out there that enjoy our company. The worst experience would be spending 2 hours with a woman who takes your money but despises your company.

There is a danger of political incorrectness here, but one person touched on the point: black men are perceived as having larger penises and being sexually more adept, on the average. Honestly, I believe this to be true, just as I believe that there are other areas in which they are physically more impressive: they appear more well-muscled and physically stronger than men of other races, at least that's my impression. Take any black guy and he looks better without his clothes on than I do! I'm bald, and the only white guy who looks good with a shaved head is Bruce Willis. I don't think the providers are implying anything about black men in a social way, nor are they afraid of them. That's ridiculous. But, if a provider says she doesn't see black men, then the implication to me is that she is probably tighter, smaller, maybe better for me (a skinny, older, averagely-endowed-at-best-on-a-good-day, white guy). I think it's just marketing to the guys who look at themselves as not as impressive, well-endowed or sexually charged as we perceive black men to be.

i've seen ads for some providers who i'd love to see but they specify "no one over 60 years". so what about 65yr+ me??? how is that fair? well I don't dwell (sic pun intended) on it or cry over it. I just move along. Personally, I won't see anyone under 38 yrs. That's my preference.
