The human trafficking one that recently got passed....
It will undoubtedly increase surveillance into our favorite pastime and possible shoo away a few of the more faint of heart. But money has a tendency to challenge every kind of obstacle and the passing of the new law will hopefully produce some positive instead of negative results.
I know we have discussed here the reality of what is going on behind the fun times, but I see the law as purely taking more of my tax dollar to create more trouble for most everyone involved.
I can only hope peeps here that come across the shitty side of this hobby will help stamp it out, but the worlds I come across (mostly K these days) seem devoid of any inhumane traffic scenarios.
The only way LE catches anyone is by making an appointment if screening isn't done properly and making the bust. No one gets busted for walking in a hallway looking for an apartment. Just doesn't happen that way. Don't worry.
MT is RIGHT ON, as usual. You cannot get in any trouble for walking in a hallway. BUT, you can get into a world of hurt if the gal in the room next to the room you're in, getting your dick sucked, has LE in with her! It happened to me! I was in with a Thai gal I'd seen before. All of a sudden, I hear voices and loud commotion in the other room (two bedroom trick pad). I KNOW it's LE because no hobbyist is going to be asking idiotic questions lke "is a happy ending included?". So, I tell the Thai gal to flush the condom (I'd just popped), get dressed and toss the other condoms out the window.... She does and we bravely walk into the living room, which has two cops in it, with two in the hallway....
I try to leave, get stopped by the cops who have no evidence of wrongdoing. I tell them I got a massage. Period. After ten harrowing minutes, they let me go, but bust the gals.
And THAT is why I hate seeing KGals,or any provider, who works a two bedroom trick pad. You never know when LE is in the next room...or about to be....
and I'm not sure how the screening process will save you from a bust like the one you mentioned being involved in.
What I was talking about is how this new law will increase the legal systems probability of effecting US all.
More (wasted) money and surveillance into our hobby will undoubtedly put pressure onto the providers. Sure, most of us will be okay even if caught with our pants down (figuratively or literally), but the fact is that the law is going to arm LE (to screw with our privacy and basic pursuit of happiness) to a much greater extent and I believe (or maybe I'm just a paranoid twit), that there will be fallout.
