In the past couple of weeks, I have seen a number of indie ladies in the LA area show up with reviews that are priced $600 or less. Only a couple have more than 5 reviews. Most are in the 1-3 review range. I'm watching and hoping they get more reviews, because those with so few give me pause. A fair amount are showing on sexycompanion. Has anyone else noticed this? Seen any of these ladies?
While I understand that lower rates can be a concern (trust me - mine are higher for a reason) I wanted to provide some perspective regarding reviews. There are clients who understandably look for a certain volume of reviews either here on TER or PD etc. I would do the same in his shoes!
As a newish provider (since April) I have had 100% satisfaction on my bookings and many of these clients were willing to leave a positive review. However, getting established on review sites is not as easy as looking hot & signing up lol. Here on TER for example I have had clients try to leave a review but because I'm 'new' they can't. Apparently when some day I accidentally bump into an experienced TER hobbyist and he leaves a review, my earlier reviews will go live. (Apparently the clients who tried to leave a review were too new to TER i.e. either the provider or client has to have an existing history with TER).
I applied for PD and have been waiting 4 months. I know of providers who got approved/verified on PD after waiting a year. I have various theories about that.
So I had nowhere for my many satisfied clients to leave reviews. Finally I resorted to sending a link to this wild site called MegaPersonals and at least there, the reviews could be made public. Then just yesterday I got smarter and took all these reviews & added them to the end of my Tryst profile (since Tryst doesn't have a place for reviews as such) and added all the reviews to my personal website.
In the interim I was literally taking screenshots of the reviews I was sent by clients and (without name of course) texting the screen shots to potential clients who wanted to book but wanted to make sure I'm legit, trustworthy and safe.
Of course I have no information on the exact providers you're referencing but wanted to share what happens at our end in case that helps!
I 100% get it. Some of my best experiences are when I took a chance with newer ladies who didn’t have reviews yet. In these cases, I was at least able to do other things on the web to find something about them. But not all of the chances I took turned out well.
I have been in the hobby longer than I have known about TER, so there was a time I didn’t even know this was an option. I’ve had the old bait and switch. I’ve had up charges to have sex. I had a provider so drunk she fell asleep while I was fucking her. I even had a man once jump out of the closet and the provider and the man tried to shake me down. He was much bigger than me and I was so scared.
Those are the really bad things. But then there are some smaller things. I care about kissing. I care about BBBJ. I care about a woman’s odor. I have had all of these not go the way I want them to go.
So if I am being honest, I don’t need all of these juicy details that TER reviews have. But I need to know I’m not going to get screwed over and that I will at least get certain services.
