slept on one once, didn't really like it.  But I'll bet sex on one would have been REAL interesting.....lol

In a house off campus in the late 70s.  The only problem is it's a little unstable with more than two people.  Which was a good thing......

I am on my third matteras, but still have the same frame.

with the waveless type  and heat  I still find it MUCH better  for sleeping

I had one and it was the worst bed!
Pain in ass to get out sometimes and just wasn't comfortable.

They were uncomfortable and made too much noise.  Slosh Slosh.  LOL

A couple of them, actually.

It was college, and it made it easy to move.  I had a cat that loved to attack the plastic rings that were around the lids of milk bottles after you opened them.  Somehow, one of them found it's way to the corner of the water bed.  Plastic ring, cat claws, and waterbed= a big leak.

Ended up having a waterbed demolition party.  Took the old mattress outside, filled it up to where it was 5' tall, and drove a pick-up truck into it.  I wish I would have had a movie camera.  AMAZING slow motion explosion of water.

good for sleeping and bad for sex.  Of course, I was younger and more athletic then.  Now, I imagine you could just mount up in mish, slap the bed next to you, and then enjoy the ride without too much additional effort.  Just a thought.  Lol

And my bed looked almost exactly like that!

Every apartment I've leased in CA has a waterbed provision in the lease. How quaint.
