I know the providers we see are giving us only their nommes de guerre,, not their real names, but as I said elsewhere, I just can't get past "Baby" as a name for someone I want to diddle. But I realize I've actually stayed away from certain names for different reasons. For instance, I have a challenging time with a lady who's using the name of a female relative, or the name of someone in my past that I really cared about.  Are there other types of names that you all--players or providers--find yourself staying away from?

There are not many names that rub me. Though, I agree with you on the close relatives. I would have trouble looking at my mom with a straight face if I ever saw a provider that had her name. And, my time with that provider would be awkward.

 
Other than those, similar to baby, it's prefixes that suggest she's a dom, so Misstress or Dom(inatrix) in front of her name. This typically means they offer dom services, but some also offer GFE. Something about the idea of being with a woman who feels strong enough about her dom services that she chooses to identify it her name just rubs me the wrong way. Look, if she goes by Cindy and also offers BDSM services, I don't care. But if she is Misstress Cindy I am all of the sudden turned off by it.

I'm similar.  It's not that I mind that they offer Domme type services, it's that I'm very much not submissive so I don't think we would connect well on our date.

Definitely my father's name, from my perspective. I have seen someone where my working name was his X's name, we figured out a nickname type of situation real fast
