Very similar to yours, except I caught a Nongonococcal urethritis from a BBBJ.
I skipped the Quest bit and shelled out $1850 to get the results in minutes and not have to report myself to the state if I had syphilis, etc. The AIDS test I had to do a follow up 6 mos. later.
I was absolutely terrified and was totally relieved when all I had was an NGU. Cleared it up with Cipro. Swore I was done with the hobby then and there. Told the k-booker by text message what had happened and let it go at that.
Today I am still getting BBBJs. Just couldn't break the habit. Funny how time and testosterone can erase a bad memory. Now I keep a course of Cipro in the glove box.

The other day I was on a business trip and noticed a small white spot on the shaft of my penis. I was of course concerned and went to one of those urgent care clinics. The doctor looked at it and had no idea and said take the full battery of std tests. I paid $400, did the tests and since they were through Quest Diagnostics had to wait 4 to 5 days to get the results. The next day I returned to my major city home town and found a doctor and clinic that specialized in these matters. Once again the doctor couldnt diagnose the spot but told me that for $1425 I could take the tests again and get the results within 15 minutes. I knew that the waiting would be difficult so I shelled out the dough and the results all came back negative. For two std's, gonnoreah and syplus it takes a couple of days to grow the culture with a urine sample but the doc said he could take a swap that would give me the results with a 99% certainty in 15 minutes. I said ok and he can back with this long this plastic line that he shoved down my uretha. It hurt. But is was worth it since that came back negative as well.. A few days late I got the results from Quest which confirmed the earlier results. By the way Quest has an application you can get on your I- Phone or Blackberry where they will send you the results using a password. Good way to carry around your test results if you want to show someone. Anyways this was a wake up call for me. I have been a member of TER for over a decade and have seen at least 100 women, many of them multiple times. I have had covered anal with 60 different women. I have always used a condom, never did p2p and only picked providers who I thought knew and cared what they for doing. (for that reason I have never seen a K girl.) After talking to the doctors I realized how many diseases you could get from a bbbj and eating at the Y. By the way I have never eaten a provider. I think I have pushed my luck long enough, cheated death so to speak, and am opting out. Call me a pussy but I was really scared. I have had tests before but there was no specific reason for them. I will miss man y of the girls. Some are really cool and I enjoyed seeing as well as fucking them. But that is it. I am not at all preaching to anyone but would suggest that on a risk reward basis a bbbj isnt worth it. Happy for all the good times I've had and wish everyone a safe and good time. Oh and by the way I went to a dermatologist and he said the spot was just a very minor common pigmentation change that frequently happens to men my age. Wish i would have seen him first
I never had an std until I saw a provider who had pages of reviews and was popular. After daty which smelled fishy, (probably didn't wash from her last customer), I got sores on my tongue. std checked out that I had "minor" oral herpes. Which of course it's devastating because the medical industry will never bother to find a cure just like oil will be used to continue to make a profit. And that provider had done plenty of doubles with a bunch of other ladies some time or another. It's probably a blanket statement but with an example like that, it would seem the whole provider industry could be infected already with herpes. I no longer do daty unless it's with a very familiar provider. I never should have felt I had to do daty from all the many idiot reviews out there that brag and post about daty like it's mandatory.
Dude, are you really worried about herpes? Something like 70 to 80 percent of the population has herpes (oral). Sex is risky business, not just paid sex. In fact, I'd say civvie sex is even riskier because both parties are usually less strict about using protection, especially in a relationship.
You play the game, you take the risks. Unless you give up sex all together, there's no way to avoid that simple fact.

You decided to single out the kgirls with your comment about them not knowing what they are doing in reagrds to theor health and to the health of others. Why don't you be inclusive of all providers? There are those who do all the k girls do but are thoroughly unclean.
Once again, another post where ignorance on the kgirls appears.
You made good points in everything but had to put in the jab.

You are totally right. That was a stupid inappropriate comment. My apologies to the K girls and anyone else I offended
Seriously I think we've all been there and waiting for the test results was best dramatized in Chris Rock's standup "Bigger and Blacker" where he equates the waiting period as a similar to Scrooge being visited by the Ghosts of Pussy Past and recanting every skank piece of sex he ever had! In any case, I don’t know if I’ve just been lucky as I’ve been getting bbbj’s and DATY’g in the hobby for awhile and never got anything, though while waiting for the test results I’ve often considered opting out.
The way I see it there are risks you can control or think you can control and those you can not. Driving to work is a risk but I think I can control it by being a careful driver and driving a safe car. When I get on a plane I have no control but am going with the safety odds. As far as STD's I feel I have no control and that it is just random luck. I am very glad you havent contracted anything but that doesnt reduce the risk from the next encounter. That is the risk I see in this hobby. I think through careful planning and using your heard you can eliminate the LE risk and the risk of anyone else finding out but how do you control for the randomness of a virus. Imagine how sweet it would be if there were a preventative vacine. But no... we invent Facebook instead.
