I try to avoid wearing perfume most of the time, unless it's a dinner date or I know you're alone in town and have all access to a shower before you go on about your day.

I like the same appreciation!  Do you guys put on cologne for us or do you have the same consideration when you're meeting a girl?
Love to hear how the other girls feel about this? Sometimes I don't want to smell like a nicely groomed man, LOL!

PS. If you're mean to me I might rub a little lipstick unknowingly on your collar ;)

While I love it when a woman smells great I appreciate that you don't want to jeopordize our male anatomy when we get home with another woman's scent on us.

I personally do not wear cologne....I slap on the after shave in the morning and basically you get whatever scent remains by the time I get there.

If I am on an overnight date then I will add something before we go out for dinner and I hope that you will to because it is different environment than an afternoon romp.

BTW....I am glad that you are back on the Boards Ms. Brennan. I have missed your $0.02 worth.

In my upscale candle lit hotel room there will be soft music , chilled champagn and a few other wine choices. Perhaps some fine chocolates will be on the table...maybe even some strawberries & whip cream....I will greet you squeeky clean fresh from a shower. Might be a scent of body wash but absolutely no cologne.  I have not wore cologne since I was a kid.  YOU , however may certainly wear the perfume of your choice as I find a beautiful woman with a reasonable amount of perfume to be exceptionally erotic.    Uhhh...you did know you were coming to see me when I'm in W Hollywood this May didn't you???   LOL...It is sure in MY plans...just too soon to be pestering you about it...but I will...oh yeah..I most certainly will!

BB,
Looking forward to seeing yourself and Leah.
I will also be sans extra fragrances.
Haven't done that since high school.

Glad you are on the boards.

I don't mind subtle perfume.  So long as she does not smell like bathroom spray or my Grandma.
But what I really like, is when I nuzzle close to her, kiss her neck, and smell her face makup.  I can't even describe that fragrannce, I guess mild, earthy.  but while I don't like a girl with a painted Geisha face, l like that smell.  Yeah, I'm strange.

You're not strange - at least to me.  I know quite well what you speak of and I so agree!  Love that smell.

No cologne for me, or perfume for the gals either.

This has been discussed many times on GD boards, and many of us, including YT, get sinus congestion from perfume/cologne.

The aroma of sex the next morning is a real turn on. Would be doubly so with you Brennan.

You do have a good point, Brennan.

I for one love what a good perfume can do, but it can be treacherous.

On the other hand, I do routinely wear cologne and more times than not my hobbling encounter is not necessarily planned out days in advance with military precision but instead more of a spur of the moment sort of thing. So I do run the risk of arriving somewhere with cologne residue from earlier in the AM.

If I happen to plan far enough in advance then I usually forgo the eau de toilette out of deference to the provider.

Since there seems to be such a split on yes or no to the perfume at least... maybe the guys should request to spritz or not to spritz lol.... I usually wear a scent of some sort but would rather someone tell not to if it means getting someone in trouble... its a small request.  ..... The deodorant is non negotiable lolol ;)
