I have about 5 other businesses I'm self employed with. I made a website for each of my businesses. When a landlord asks, I give them links to all my businesses. Also have a few reference letters handy to give them. There are tons of rentals. Some will make it difficult and some will be easy. Bypass the landlords who seem negative. There's always a nice one around willing to help you out if youre a sweet single girl

What do you tell the leasing agent or manager your profession is?  

Is your employment verification bogus/a cover up?

I'm curious.  I would like to rent an apartment of my own in West Hollywood or a decent part of WLA but don't have the proper employment verification.
