What's the story with our well reviewed Asian providers in LA? Granted I'm from out of state but am a faithful review writing TER member that has run into a "wall" trying to contact three well reviewed Asian ladies for a date in this town. Over the last three days whenever I call the in box is full and no reply to any messages. Yet reviews come up almost daily. Would appreciate some insight and suggestions

It's a network u have to work into

You have get into the network; I'd suggest trying to get in with the new or lesser reviewed gals first rather than going for the very popular gals. Once u see a ccouple, you'll have some references then u can see the more popular ones. Good luck.

Try Others

There are many Asian providers available in LA. When the inbox is full that means they are unavailable (either they are not working (taking day(s) off) or they are already fully booked; in either case, the booker is not answering). If you called only 3 in 3 days, you haven't really tried very hard. Calling the same #s and getting the same response won't get you anywhere. If you are checking the primary source (cityvibe), you will see who is currently available through the "Available Now" feature.
Because of security precautions, you may not get response from any K-booker because you are not a known customer.

Another thing to keep in mind -- not just you, but all the frustrated wannabe k-clients -- is that getting your first appointment sometimes winds up being a matter of luck. If you happen to call at a time when business is slow, the booker may be more likely to work with you, check multiple references, and find one that finally fits their unique criteria. That's how it worked for me. This one very professional booker finally took the time to go through several of my references before she found one that was acceptable to her. After that, it's been smooth sailing ever since!

Actually most of the K-dolls problem start with them departing from their standard screening procedure and system.

The booker did not depart

from the standard screening procedure for me. She simply took the time necessary to go through 6 or 7 of my references until she found one that met her strict requirements (Korean, text only, active web page, etc).

My point is - when a booker is busy, she may not be willing to take the time to do that. If you are new to the k-scene (as I was back then) you probably don't know exactly what type of reference she needs. So it's a matter of the booker being willing to go through your references and say, "No, that one is no good ... No, that one is no good ... No, not that one either ... Oh, here we go ... this one will work."

So my message to the wannabes is: keep trying. Be persistent (but polite!). Understand that the bookers are very busy. And eventually -- if you are respectful and patient -- you will get through the magic door.
