Officials in West Hollywood are warning about the very dangerous & very contagious "meningococcal infection, a bacteria-caused illness that can lead to potentially deadly meningitis."

...college campuses regularly until kids started getting vaccinated before going off to college.In fact, a student at the Univ. of Wisconsin just died of meningitis:

Meningitis is caused by bacteria and kids in dorms are in close quarters, sharing utensils, so it's easily transmitted.

It's also transmitted by saliva from kissing, something not limited to gay people.
