I have looked through some of the older posts but did not see either of the Embassy Suites listed as a "good" hotel to stay at near LAX.  I just love their 2 room suites but I want to make sure I am not missing something before I book a room.  So I guess I am asking yea or nay, and if yea which one would be better to stay at?

I live in the area and the thought of staying in or going to a hotel near LAX is really a turn-off for me.  That being said, if you must stay near LAX, I would suggest the Custom Hotel on Lincoln. It's far enough away from LAX, but still close enough to get to the airport in a hurry.

Just a friendly reminder... I have seen an aweful lot of posting hotel names on the board here lately..Eeeek! Better to PM the actual names of places to eachother, we don't wanna make it too easy for LE right?

Good call...For some reason I never think of LE when I post.  I should be more careful from now on!

True.  However, LE has alot more important things to worry about other than a friendly massage by a professional to work the kinks out.
