I was wondering just how difficult is it to learn Korean if one is native speaker of English? I suppose it might be useful to know some Korean in an encounter, though obviously it isn't necessary. Is it more like Japanese or Chinese?

my man.  speaking korean is a negative when you see a kgirl.  if you speak they waste more time speaking to you then just shutting up and servicing you!!!  pain in the ass.

they are so bored that when a native speaker comes they start yacking like the civie kgirls!!  oppa this oppa that...in that 60 min session i get like 20 mins of sex!!  so just nonstop yacking.  and because they are comfortable with you they start whininng or pouting when you ask them to rim you or cim.  instead of just shutting up and service you with non korean speakers.  since can't speak and good english the girl just tries to service you good to get that high rating review and get you out door.  f**K!!  and who cares that sometimes they let me go over the 60 mins....rest of the time is all just yack yack yack!!!!!

i go to see these girls for the fantasy to have a hot chick do things like CIM and rimming that my real life cvive girlfriends won't or didn't. not to have them whine to me about how tired they are or they went to vegas and shit.  god i wish they  just shut the f**k up!!!

Quite a few K-Girls know Japanese, very few know Chinese (it is more phonetic). Learning Korean is fairly difficult for adults but if you are willing to put in the time should be fine. I spent some years in Japan and rely on that language to communicate withe the girls and it works 90% of the time.
Best of luck.

Get these two books: Dirty Korean by Haewon Geebi Baek and Making Out in Korean by Peter Constantine. It contains all the Korean slang you need to know.   Pronunciation is biggest problem for me.   Sometimes I ask the girls how to pronounce the words. They are always happy to help me.   I think knowing a few Korean words or phrases helps the girls feel comfortable.
