I cant stand the Rain

HEIDEN1085 reads

To the lovely ladies and hobbyists'.  Just curious is the rain good or bad for business

The gloomy skies just kinda kills my mojo.
Traffic is worse, shoes get wet…it’s like I’m in Seattle

🥰I love that song! 🎶

I don’t think a little rain affects business. I traveled recently to the snow & it didn’t detour my friends from visiting me.

It varies! I personally would like to think someone would want to get all cozy during our rare rainy season but it seems like it’s been slow!

I like diddling when it's rainy out.  Probably some schlocky movie to blame for creating some romantic or sexy association.

it opens up the session times, making it easier to book, it's welcome IMO!

Hi Heiden,

For me it makes no tangible difference. Keeping in mind this is my first year as a provider so I can only speak from one winter season worth of data. It is interesting me that week before Christmas was one of the busiest in terms of requests. Also dips in the economy tend to spike business, if anything.

Having said that I just got back from a week in Hawaii so I could personally be guilty of chasing an eternal summer ;)

and angelenos forget how to drive in inclement weather. It makes getting to a session a royal pain in the ass, so for me the rain is a deal breaker. If I see rain in the eminent future when planning a playdate I will try to book around it.

they don't need rain to be lousy, inconsiderate, spaced-out drivers!

Lots of rain, but I guess business is slow when weather is challenging. I don’t live close to providers so usually wait for clear skies.
