I'm very worried about Alexis, TER ID 202682. We were to meet today and she hasn't returned my calls or text.
I spoke to her in the morning to set up a time and all went great. Then I was to I call her when I left my place and on the way, that went great as well. She requested that I call when I got to a certain intersection, which I did. Now here's when she didn't pick up, I text her,yet nothing. I became very worried that something terrible has happened. I wanted to call the local hospitals or the police but I gotta feeling that Alexis just may not be her real name. If anyone knows if she OK, please let me know, I'm going to light a candle for her safety. I think we all should.......Now I hope this is coming off like I give SHIT.,,,lol.
PS. I knew she was flaky so part of this is on me, but I got a pair of nice shoes and treated myself to a great lunch so....Still happy but not so lucky...lol

Although it's true, I did get the "crickets" from her, but it was done as a sarcastic post. Really, to light a candle and call the local hospitals, like I would actually do that. C'mon now.....It's because I've been around long enough that I could post something like this without the fear of any repercussions. See we all will get NCNS'd at one time or another, it happens. I'm just making light of it....that's all. Call it a PSA, for now
I think those that know me, knew that this post was done tongue in cheek...and they're probably thinking, "Fucking Happy"...lol

Someone makes a joke, and then someone completely obtuse takes it literally, completely ruining the joke as no joke is still funny if it has to be explained.

 
It's the reason I quit making "subtle" jokes around here a long time ago. Most humor has to be about as subtle as a two by four upside the head to work on these boards.

I thought your post was very funny, not overly-subtle, but like GA Gambler says, it is tough to be subtle on this board....
