They say it is always sunny in California, but that doesn't mean things are always shining. With Covid Delta and rebuilding our lives from the effects of the 2020 year, some of us are still picking up the pieces. Since we are heading towards the end of the year soon, I wanted to check in to ask how you are? Are you excited for this year ending, and what are your goals fr next year? I always like to start first. In simple terms, I am okay. Some days I have good days and some days are bad. However, no matter what type of day I have had, I always remember to stay grateful. It's always a good idea to share how you feel. Don't be shy.
Living here alone, life is as isolated as one can be.. I either stay home or work.. and I work a lot...From February to July 2021 I did not take one day off. Took a 40% paycut for most of 2020 and received $0 in relief.. not even a small tax cut which is amazing given the billions of dollars our government is wasting each year.. yet all my bills have remained the same so now I am thousands in debt. Rent has just gone up $250 a month. For 2022 I want to leave CA.. or even the US. The context is too toxic and life is a grind at this point. Sure I splurge once in a while and book a date.. a luxury I probably should not engage in given my financial situation but one still have to live a little... and it is at this point the only enjoyable interaction I have with humans.
