If are on the westside, close to LAX but want to avoid tourist Santa Monica, Hollywood or don't see yourself going to downtown

Culver City has a nice pub crawl zone

Harvelles in Santa Monica has burlesque during the week...

I'm starting off in Hollywood... So ... There would be great..  My besties are taking me to Disneyland for my first time so I'm very excited but they only have couple days to spare cuz of their work schedule & a hobbyist I saw here in June said he would take me around a little... But downtime I don't like sitting around in the hotel... Def would love to go Korean town to see "My Peeps" and enjoy some Korean food... But thank you for ur suggestions-love it... The fact I do not drive will factor into all this lol

Agree with Bella. Depends on where you'll be staying. LA is so spread out that  every area has it's own great places. yelp.com is a great resource for all areas of LA. eom

The public trans is called the Metro and they operate both the bus and rail lines. You can take the Red line from Hollywood down to Koreatown pretty easily. It just takes a little bit of work on your end. All the info can be found here - metro.net

And, there really is so much to do that you have to pick one or two things a day max cause getting around will take up a lot of time.
