Okay, never mind. She got her family emergency resolved quickly and rescheduled with me. She is very dependable so when she has an emergency she is someone I believe that it is a legit emergency.
I have known her for quite some time and I know she wouldn't cancel on me unless it was serious. The other issue was that I had arranged to take care of another matter while I was over that way so it would have been a bigger impact to me that usual. I did tell her that because I was frustrated. I now would have had to drive over there regardless for a second matter and I didn't want to unless I was also having some fun. Plus I had gotten ready and just heading there.
Fortunately, she was able to address her family emergency quicker than expected. But yeah, it was funny, I had no more than posted that when I got a text from her to try and reschedule. Usually she is super, super, reliable so no big deal, shit happens.
