Kula sushi - they have a few locations. The one in Torrance is the best. Try the yakiniku sushi - out of this world And then Matsuhisa on La Cienaga if you want the SSE (sushi star experience). Be prepared to pay a price though Donovan
En Sushi on Santa Monica in West LA and Sushi Sasabune but can get pricey at this place.
But, honestly I'm hapa half japanese from Hawaii. Everyone has different taste buds and different opinions. It's up to your own taste buds on what you might like and the next person might not

Yah, been to Urasawa very pricey and if you don't watch what you order your bill will get out of hand! LOL Stay Away from sugarfish in Marina Del Rey service sucks and wasn't that good. Other ones I have been to are better.
