On a trip to LV and thought I might stop by a legal Brothel in Nevada to check out the talent.  Started a conversation with a couple of Ladies at the bar and one caught my interest; shapely, toned, fiesty....after a drink we headed back to her room for a conversation, and after some brief discussion, out came the asking price, $3,000.00 for an hour.  I nearly laughed out loud, however, she was serious....the Lady was nice but maybe an 8 in LA, certainly not a 9 or 10 by LA standards.  I pleasantly declined and the price dropped to $1,500.00 for "one pop" and 30 minutes of mish.   I suggested we head to the bar for another drink....will save my hard earned money for the LA Ladies.  Can't wait to get back to the Gals in LA.

before your trip would have saved you the time. It's a well known fact the NV brothels are expensive. Did the lady you negotiated with tell everything is covered including the BJ? For many guys visiting a brothel is a "bucket list" item and since they've never heard of TER, fall for the scam. Oh well, live and learn.

Well documented on the HBO series, the amount of cash dropped is ridiculous. Those legal brothels are a fucking joke.  Those girls are NOT worth the load of cash you have to drop for what we can get in LA (Or in Vegas, for that matter).  I guess the only real draw is that it's "legal" and you have the piece of mind you're not going to get popped.  There is something also regarding having that kind of atmosphere, where you can lounge, check out the girls, etc., but with my scale of economy there is no way I'd spend that kind of money at a place like that.  If I win the lottery, sure, I'd go take a trip to satisfy my curiousity.

Anybody dumb enough to pay anything close to those prices deserves to get taken.  Maybe they print those up for Japanese business men to take home.  But as you found out, the real prices can and should be much lower.

I knew a woman that went to the Bunny Ranch 5 or 6 times when she needed quick cash, and she came back with plenty of stories, as you can imagine.   Even though the prices can always be negotiated down, they will always be more expensive than the independent local LA talent.  Plus, the house gets half, so you're always paying for that too.  And, as Shillbill said, covered BJs only, which is a deal breaker for me.

I think some guys go for the novelty, and some may enjoy being able to pick from 10 girls in a line-up, but for men who know about TER, there's really no reason to ever go to a legal brothel, as you found out.

I've hobbied in Vegas many times, but never at the legal brothels outside the city. Now I'm glad I didn't bother with the long drive. Sheesh. $3,000 (or even half that) is ridiculous when a smokin' hot 19-year-old honey will come directly to your room for $400.

Makes me feel even luckier to live in L.A. with all of these beautiful k-girls. Yes, this must be heaven.  

Usually the farther away the brothel is from LV or Reno, the cheaper the prices. Of course, you have to drive for hours to get there. I am surprised by the $3K cost, though--the economy must be coming back, because a lot of these places were hurt badly during the recession.

It was certainly educational...and makes me appreciate even more what we have and share within TER and the LA scene.....Happy Hunting....

I spent four years exploring the landscape of 30 plus NV brothels.  For the rest of my life I will be a known prostitute because of my licenses.  My fav is the Chicken Ranch.  The highest price party in NV history is 1.6mill.  The ladies were flown over seas in a private jet for a week of fun.  The prices don't reflect what the girls are "worth" , as we are all priceless, but what the mans budget allows.  In addition, the majority of men who frequent brothels are discriminatory individuals who want to act lawfully and repeat.  Girls and phone staff are prevented from quoting prices prior to a visit but there are minimums and your "$400 19 year old hotel hottie" is in the ball park.  In fact, two of the brothels still offer specials.  For instance, "45 minutes, after your shower, for a half and half, at $200" was offered on a sign and maybe even their web site at one brothel I worked at.  But I have also met men who can afford to drop $20k without thinking twice.  
I love all adult entertainment and the Nevada brothels have my full support.  I recommend them to everyone adult friendly.

LV and NV brothels are both well known rip offs.  It is too bad that they can't follow the German FKK example of offering reasonable price, service, and facilities.
