She was a publicity hound. I am a lifelong Angelino.

especially in the 80s with her billboards all around town and her pink corvette.   But as txholdm said it best, she was just a publicity hound and nothing more

It was in the late 70's or early 80's at the Sweetwater, which was a rock club in Hermosa Beach. She and her band were the support act that evening, perhaps for The Knack, not quite sure. What I do remember was her attempting to sing while while rolling around on the stage clutching a very large stuffed rabbit. I thought it was hilarious, but most of the rest of the audience did not appreciate her artistry.

is one of the most frightening shows I've ever seen, an old episode of Thriller starring Wm. Shatner.  If you've seen that one (MeTV re-ran it recently) you'll get the connection.

And time has been very very unkind to her.  She does have a banging new Vette although in that hideous trademark pink of hers.  Given her sad decline one does wonder where the money is still coming from to afford the car and even the 2nd rate hotel I saw her exiting.  Classic LA.

If you have a pussy, there's a market for it. It's like mail order and biology combined into one.

For someone who is probably well into her 70s, she looks pretty good. Gravity gets everybody in the end, y'know
