I listen to her day and night.....She is so talented. Afro Jack has some fun songs too.

Ah yes Adele is awesome!  I've been listening to a lot of M83 lately.  Their new album is awesome!

I've been drooling over the Deftones' hauntingly cathartic rendition of "No Ordinary Love."

Besides that, newish and new-to-me music and artists on my ipod:

Band of Skulls- really catchy rock (check out "Fires," "Death by Diamonds and Pearls," and "Blood")
Gogol Bordello- self-proclaimed 'gypsy punk'
Beats Antique- world music with electro twist, played on old-fashioned instruments
Lyrics Born- feel-good funk/hip-hop, check out "I like it, I love it."
Puscifer (side project of James Maynard Keenan from APC & Tool). Faves are "The Mission," "Potions," "Rev 22-20," and "Polar Bear"
Zed's Dead- terrific UK dubstep group (yes, the name is from Pulp Fiction). Check out the covers of "White Satin" and "Eyes on Fire."

I'm always taking new music recs if anyone else wants to share or PM me!

Well, Well, Well.. Finally someone that actually knows about that version! OMG.. I Think I am in absolutle lust baby... Our music taste is amazingly alike :) Check out Deadbolt, Reverend Horton Heat.. I love music that is original. Especially, Primus... Also, check out some Skinny Puppy.

Meowwwwwwwwww

I love music and I am always listening something different. But for now I am really in love with those 2 amazing artists!

Maroon 5, OneRepublic, Adele, Big Sean, Wale, ColdPlay, Aqua (yep the barbie girl peeps lol), Evanescence, J. Cole, Jill Scott, Jay-Z/Kanye West, etc.

I am very diverse in my music taste I listen to everyone from Anita Baker(my all time favorite singer),Brian Culbertson(incredible jazz musician),old school rap and r&b music,Adele,Drake, and like a few have mentioned of course Sade.I would also have to agree regarding Miles Davis and one more Carlos Santana.I also have to admit I do like Maroon 5.
DJ Premier produced music he creates one of a kind of beats for hip-hop,r&b,and pop artists.

Check out Brad Mehldau.  He's an excellent jazz pianist.

...and I have some snake oil to sell you too.  LOL!

In all seriousness, though, folks...

1) Nine Inch Nails - My favorite ever since I was 11 years old.  Trent Reznor is my favorite artist.  Anyone know him?  I never tire of it and the creativity of the music is on another level.

2) A steady stream of Classic Rock (CCR or Lynryd Skynrd), 80's Hair Band Rock (you know that music was good even if you don't want to admit it), and "Other Rock" (Journey, A Perfect Circle)

3) Florence + The Machine - Just so soulful and creative

4) Foster the People - Seems to put me in a great mood every time I hear them

5) Lots and lots of Depeche Mode

6) The score for the Tron Movie - Done by Daft Punk and just genius

7) Various Comedians - Nothing beats out a good laugh

8) Audiobooks - Who does not love to be read to?!?  It makes me feel like a kid again and I get to exercise my imagination.

I wasn't going to post to this but I thought it might be fun considering I definitely do not seem like the type who likes Industrial or Heavy Rock, etc.

Modest Mouse - Pinback - Peter, Bjorn and John - Cut Copy - Beck, etc. type of gal.

Foo Fighters are totally hot right now!

And I am head over heels for this song...so sexy:
