Smooth is best, IMO, and the ultimate smooth is when its lasered.   "Natural" is revolting, no other way to put it.  A landing strip tickles my nose and sometimes makes me sneeze during DATY.  Very UN-sexy when that happens.

I keep a much wider than a landing strip, but completely clean below and everyone loves it across the board. It's a cute surprise and I think a pretty good look.

I'm for whatever people are into. Totally bare is hot on some, naturally hairy suits others well too.

I shave completely - always have. 1) It seems to have the most mass appeal. 2) It's easiest, whereas creating a landing strip would mean careful shaping and trimming.

However, a friend told me that he prefers a landing strip because it gives a sense of seeing something you're not supposed to see...which he then compared to the vibes that tan lines give. I guess that makes sense - to the extent that I can understand the male mind - but still seems like too fringe of opinion if we're talking about cost-benefit from the girl's point of view
