I believe it is important to tell the RIGHT KIND of photographer what the pictures are for and it is helpful to shoot with someone who knows how to shoot boudoir photos. Boudoir photography is totally different than portrait or any other kind of photography. There is the need to know how to pose a woman, how to light her properly, the angles from which to shoot, etc.
The girl MUST MUST MUST do her research and search out very dependable and trustworthy photographers. (Please ladies, do your research and maybe even have a friend present during the shoot...no one should be manipulated just because they are posing for a camera) Just because the photographer shoots primarily for escorts does not mean he/she will be untrustworthy.
For me, when the photographer knows what the shoot is for, we can tailor the looks/outfits and poses better. I also can properly communicate that I do not want my face shown in the shots, so we can take some different angles that might not be used in any other sort of photo shoot.
Here is my thinking on spending the money for good photos: those photos are your only calling card to get clients (unless you want to wait about 6 months between meet and greets). If they are good and showcase you properly, you get more work. If they are bad, no work. It is an investment that you must make at some point if you are in the position where you want to increase your clientele or the quality of clientele.
Please girls, do not be afraid to talk to other providers when you have questions. Most of us are more than willing to help.

One thing I have notice is I am seeing pictures that are in some cases 5 yrs old if not more
So Ladies how often do you update your pictures and guys how often would you like to see them updated?

Every 3-4 months is good for new pictures and I would suggest having a nice, higher end and professional photo shoot done at some point as well. You can always supplement other looks and more informal types of photo shoots into your collection, but the high end shoot should be the backbone. The investment will end up paying for itself.
As a matter of fact I'm having my next big photo shoot next week.

I try to every few months..I have actually had about 5 shoots in the last 2 months..and more this coming weekend!!

The middle of the road girls don’t always have the resources to invest in quality photos and some of the fucktards who call themselves photographers, will take advantage. This, I know from personal experience has scared some girls from doing so again. A gal that I was dating a few years back called crying because the guy asked to fuck her in the middle of the shoot, she was FBSM and part of the shoot was for her real world modeling gig. He promised extra shots and air brushing if she did. I asked who he was and she would not tell me, had she I would have kicked his ass.
That was not the last time I heard similar stories, from one gal I heard the guy said he would not release her real info in exchange for a fuck since she had to sign a model/of age release for boudoir photos, scumbag. After that I asked who some of my ATFs used and one of the best in the business is a woman. So if I girl asks, I give them her info. She is expensive but so worth it and many have told me that they feel more comfortable with a female photographer.
Others just want to hide the passing of time, weight gain or just don’t see a need. I applaud the ladies that keep their photos current but I also understand that time can be unkind, especially to a woman in this business.
