DUANE has a long history with TER, and I don't recall him shilling at any time. He has shared a lot over the years, so I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt.

You would also think that if he wanted to shill, he could have done a hell of a lot better then this. I don't think any providers would want him as their PR agent after today, lol.

For what it's worth with regards to the thread from a bit ago the doubters could not be more wrong as I decided to try the young lady out - with much caution.  But that's all I'll say here.

"A Shill Thread is a thread that is started with a post that is praise, thanks, or a recommendation for a certain provider for reasons of self-interest, personal benefit, or out of friendship or loyalty. Starting a new thread with a Shill Post is not allowed by TER because such threads are considered extra "advertising" above and beyond what each provider is allowed each week."

The purpose of my post was to respond to the posting from a month or two ago...For the record I neither recommend for or against the young lady...everyone can make their own judgement.....but if this is "shilling", then fine, remove it, and I'll PM certain folks with more specifics.

as far as "responding" to the other thread - you're the one that started that thread in the first place.  The current post, certainly borderlines on a recommendation and advertising for the lady because one can follow the current link and then pick up another link to the add.

You could have written a review and if you didn't because she doesn't want one, it seems like she, or you, thinks she could otherwise use a plug.

ok, you got me...so I supposedly shilled starting with a question as to whether anyone had any info on this young lady.....did not recommend in any way at the time - even that someone else should try her...paused deliberately for about 2 months......and now I continue my effort....of course, that must be it...if as an irregular contributer for 10 years now I can't comment in this way - to clear up a question, then this board has got an issue...it's fair to speculate in a post that someone is a ROB or B&S but it's not fair to comment that she is not?  Fine.

You sound all angry and offended, but what you're saying seems contradictory .... on the one hand you're saying the girl doesn't want a review, but on the other hand you're saying she wants everyone to know that she's pretty darn good...  so you put up a post saying she's good, but you won't give any more information... that seems contrary to the whole idea of TER... the point is that hobbyists go in with their eyes open ... before they spend their money and drop their pants, they know something about the girl and have an idea whether she's the type of girl they want....  the trade-off is, the girls get to pre-screen and pre-approve the hobbyist and avoid the ones who don't meet their standards....  telling everyone, this girl is good but you won't give  any more info because she doesn't want you to, amounts to an advertisement... the girl should either allow a full honest review or drop the subject, not try to spoon-feed a little information that helps her and leaves the hobbyists in the dark ... IMIAO

The intent of my post was not to say she was good, or in any way review her, or even recommend her, but rather it was to relate back to the replies on the earlier thread - but you are right I was a little angry at the "generals" response to the earlier thread.  This was in no way done to help her, frankly I was trying to help the community.

Sounds like I misunderstood your post -- my bad -- sorry -- before I wrote it, I  read your original post on Cassia -- I thought you were trying to figure out if she was a good choice for a session -- apparently you were discussing something else which I still don't understand, but, not a problem, I don't need to understand everything -- if your were just trying to provide some helpful info for the community, so be it. It's all good. :)

If I had started a post that led to suggestions a lady was a ROB and possibly cause her to lose biz, I'd be looking to clean up after myself as well.
