Iv'e been in the mongering game longer than ER has been around. I have noticed if I ever post a posotive review or "god forbid " a chat thread about a person/persons I am assailed by comments of SHILL and a lot of people bemoaning suck ups to bookers and providers. The bellow about the good old days when you could abuse girls and they had to like it.

In the rest of my life I have found a value add given to people that provide me with exceptional service or value is a win win. They get more clients, and they give me better service. The reason I would not want to incourage this is??? Even as a pro athlete respectful posotive strategic alliances paid off a lot better for me than trivializing people when I could have easily gotten away with it.

Why is it that being helpful to good providers and solid bookers is wrong? Why is that choosing to post posotive reviews when great  sessions occur is wrong? My reviews are accurate and my judgments of beauty are as subjective as anyones.

Why is choosing to simply be innactive and not review when I felt YMMV or she was not beautiful in my eyes is wrong?

It is entirely possible some of the negative comments I get come from ultra successful people, but I doubt it. The control and marginlize mentality rarely makes it past the netwoth 10 mil mark.

If anyone also feels that the "use em and abuse em" mentality displayed by many members sucks throw your voice on here.

This does not mean I dislike people of a contrarian view point. FROOMIE and I are often polar oposites but his views and systems make sense. Most of the "ill #$%%#$ your mother inmail stuff from less eloquent and insecure Mongers is what this is about.

I can hardly wait for the response on this...and S*****S when you have finished pushing that rock up the hill I am happy to have lunch. I so enjoyed your inmails. You can come to Malibu or I can come over to Compton.

I simply do not write reviews unless the experience was not only good, but above-and-beyond the call of duty. It must be outstanding. This hobby is supposed to be fun. It's not fun to insult young women or bring them to tears because I didn't have the greatest time with them. People may look at my reviews and say, "Ugh, he only gives 8s and 9s. Shill!" But that's because I generally do not review the 7s, 6s, and 5s. Life is too short to have a bad attitude and spew negativity all the time.

Actually I agree with your views.  Although I write a lot of reviews, I also don't write about all my experiences.  I simply like to share my more positive experiences to promote the great girls rather than poo-poo the bad ones.  (and its also bragging, of course, who else am I gonna brag to).

I do take a lot of TOFTTs because I enjoy the surprise.  If it sucks, I communicate with the booker about it, not the community.  This is why I have excellent relationships with the bookers who are receptive to my communication.  I also tell bookers about good experiences, too.  And this is they way I conduct myself in the real world as well, it makes for building good relationships, in business and in personal.

But as different people have different tastes, I think everyone who reads reviews must always consider that -- as well as a ymmv situation for every provider.  They are all human, sometimes they have bad days.  Sometimes u yourself may not be in the right state of mind for a visit with one.

I am in complete agreement. Your thoughts tend to mirror mine for the most part. Sometimes it amazes me the callousness of some of the people in this hobby. I also have talked to many of the girls I have seen and if there is a problem with a girl, I will let the booker know. Though I tend to repeat very heavily with certain girls, the new girls that I see, I am always positive and make sure that the girl is as well. To me this helps in providing an adequate opening for the girl to become comfortable and more relaxed and thus a great session.

In the 2-3 years I have been hobbying, I have had only one bad experience. As Froomie does, I communicate with the bookers if there is a problem with the girl. I think there is nothing wrong in praising a girls talent or the session but if it become brazenly a shill type post then I guess be prepared for the community wrath.

I have been Hobbying for awhile now & I don't always write reviews.  The one's that
I do write are for extraordinary ladies who I have been fortunate enough to have a
meaningful connection with.  Since I have joined TER, I have not had a "bad" experience.
Early on, I had a couple of disappointments, and thought very long & hard about writing
a negative review.  I decided it wasn't worth it, because I probably didn't research enough
to make an informed choice about a particular Provider.  I decided that the onus was on me
to do my homework more diligently.  Because my reviews have been long epic descriptions of positive encounters, I too have from time to time, been accused of White Knighting & shilling for some providers who others didn't quite have the same experience as I have had. Posting an overly negative review of a provider's livelihood overlooks the YMMV philosophy. The only way(as I see it) to minimize so-so or mediocre encounters is to do your HOMEWORK-plain & simple.  I'm not saying by doing your HOMEWORK is going to make an encounter a "10", but the percentages of wonderful experiences is in the Hobbyist's favor when he/she researches a particular Provider with the tools at hand.  Read a Provider's website thoroughly-You can get a good sense of the philosophy behind a Provider's state of being.  Read the Hobbyist's reviews of the Provider for the entertainment value, but also look for clues as your compatibility with said Provider.  The last tool in a Hobbyist's kit are M&G's.  Where else can you relate to a Provider w/o spending $$$ or $$$$,
for the privilege.  I can't tell you how many times I've been Hot To Trot about a particular Provider & discovered that (at an M&G) we were NOT compatible. And I have had very unexpected connections w/ someone new at the gathering.
Lastly, keep a list, so that if you have a spontaneous need, you can be reasonably sure your need will be satisfied on short
notice.    
I have used these barometers to great success when deciding on partners.  It doesn't matter what kind of experience
you crave.  It just increases the odds you will have at least a pleasurable experience, if not a mind-blowing one.

There is so much to be wary about in the hobby, so many red flags, so many shills, so many unscrupulous people.  We don't know the motivation behind any review writer, we just have to go on good faith, that he is telling the truth.  This is not a business in which good faith is a wise strategy.  

I've had pm exchanges with the chronic 9-10 raters and rarely do I get an answer that is satisfactory.  I saw a kgirl about a year ago who was just plain ugly, but had received 9's.  When I questioned the reviewer he admitted he gave high scores because it benefits him with the bookers.

So yes, it is a win-win for the reviewer and the booker.  And yes, it creates a lot of good vibes around the girl, but I was out 250 dollars so that some guy could get preferential treatment from a booker.  So be it.

If I see a guy with all 9's, I will disregard his reviews.  I have been in the kgirl scene a long time, and I truly love what these girls do and how good they make me feel, but a 9 is very rare and a 10 has yet to enter my life.

You are exactly right.  The purpose of TER is to help us fellows make a better and more informed decision on who to see and who not to see.

If you go on to Yelp, to research a restaurant or onto Amazon to research a product, it's okay to see the bad reviews if there are any.  If I see too many negative reviews, I will look elsewhere.  And, I will specifically read the bad reviews first.  Some times the negative reviews are nit-picky and don't mean very much overall.

On Yelp, for example, if a place has a lot of bad reviews, you would hope the establishment sees those reviews.  Hopefully they have a good attitude, are open minded and make improvements rather than go on being in denial.  

If one has a bad or less than stellar experience with a provider, I don't see why they wouldn't want to write about it.  Wouldn’t you want to know about a provider who isn't the best person to spend time with?

I don't write reviews to help a providers business or ruin it.  I simply write about my time with the person and whether I enjoyed myself or not.  What I (we) write will help whoever is reading it decide if they want to make an appointment or to move on to someone else.

By and large a business does well by having good service and a good product and is helped by word of mouth and reviews.  A business with bad service and/or a product only hurts themselves and word of mouth and reviews will only serve warn others not to waste their time and money and what’s wrong with that?  That’s what a community is all about.

We need to know about the bad along with the good.  We should not feel bad, threatened or discouraged from writing a negative review.  As long as what is written is honest, polite and truthful, I see nothing wrong with it.  I don't get any enjoyment from writing a negative review when I have.  I certainly don't strive to be mean, unless a provider was extremely unfriendly or a rip-off.  

There used to be a time when I saw  profiles that stated RIP OFF at the top of the page.  Why aren’t there more of those?  If someone TOFTT, he would not have much research to go over and he could be making a sacrifice.  It would be very helpful to read about a negative or very average experience when there are no reviews to read.

Given your experience you may have developed your own way of evaluating providers , however, the proof of the pudding is in it's eating and your use of an alias does not allow us to evaluate your reviews , if you write any.

I generally ignore the first 5 reviews unless I have faith in the reviewers and rely on pm with those whose opinions I respect as well as reputable bookers , who sometimes suggest I reconsider my original choice. By the same measure agencies/bookers as well as independent home grown providers black list hobbyists who may post what they consider an unfavorable review no matter how accurate. Independent girls badger and harass reviewer  

The rating system has been compromised you see low and high marks that are inconsistent with the review content and TER grading guidelines .

well said picture switch ups and ripoffs should be broadcasted just like Im blacklisted if I am abusive or violent with a girl. TER should be a little like FINRA . I do not care if others wish to review all, some or only good or only bad experinces I am only upset if i cannot do things as my manners allow. And I HATE F$%#k like s**&^s who roach gal because there pecker does not work or they think working girls must come 10 times cause they are so damn sexy. I don't have a premium account to see the ratings.  But when they weren't behind a pay wall, I never thought much of them. If someone got a 7, they weren't model good looking. But if someone got all 9s or 10s that just meant they MIGHT be model good looks, but most likely not.

You can usually tell someone's looks by reading the reviews. If you can't, they aren't model good looking.

So I really don't get the debate. Personally, in my range of 3-7/hr., I'd say 10% had model looks.  The rest were attractive or pretty, but not shockingly so.  So I'm sorry for not getting the point of all this.  I understand it in theory, but in practicality, it's a moot point.

Personally, I think those who spend too much time debating the finer details of ratings just must love all aspects of their hobby.  To me, I just want to know if she smokes, does drugs, is a robber, isn't the real person in the picture, and where and what her in call is.

I'd like to comment on your contention that there is nothing wrong with posting overly complimentary reviews.  While it may give you better service and benefit you, your reviews are not accurate and truthful.  Honesty usually is the best policy.  

TER exists to provide accurate, truthful information.  You admit your reviews are motivated by other reasons and are self-serving.  You're not in alignment with the mission of the website.  You make this place worse.

That may be harsh, but it's really that simple.

I give 8&9s because almost all of my experiences are 8s or 9s.  These k-girls earn their scores.  I very rarely have a bad experience.   The main reason?  Because I read the ter reviews and avoid seeing the 6s.  If I have a bad experience,  I write a review about it but it's really pretty rare.  Before I started using ter my experiences were often a 6.  I'm not advertising for ter but just sharing my experiences.

There is no reason!  This is a forum for a bunch of guys obsessed with kgirls who talk about them all the time, think about them all the time, love the prostitute scene and can talk endlessly about the smallest kgirl item.  It makes us happy.  Sometimes we get a bit dickish with each other, but we all like being here because it perpetuates the fantasy long after we've paid our $250.  Personally, I love prostitutes and always have.  It's just a great diversion from a very stressful life.

Too often these kind of exchanges deteriorate into distracting personal attacks, so it is very refreshing to see this topic addressed so thoughtfully.

My takeaway:  (1) At the margins of very bad service or outright dishonesty negative reviews are both appropriate and necessary.  (2)  In this hobby, grade inflation is inescapable, largely in part to the nature of the experience--we're not, after all, talking about well or poorly our tires were changed, and if folks have that attitude they might reconsider the reasons they are in the hobby.  (3)  That said, the hobby is like any other service industry in the sense that the consumer who wants the most for his dollar either (a) votes with his feet and doesn't patronize a subpar performer, or (b) goes directly to the vendor, discusses his reactions and sees what the vendor does in response.  It is simply a self-defeating strategy to react to a bad experience by going ballistic because all that does is make certain that the vendor won't have anything to do with you because you're too much trouble.  And (4) perhaps uniquely so in this hobby, we reviewers are part and parcel to the marketing strategy of the vendors, and we can either participate in a way that is to our advantage, or we can sabotage things so that useful information is lost in an unduly abrasive comment.

I have written less than stellar reviews, and haven't experienced either fellows at TER or bookers giving me a lot of grief for having done so.

I'm not trying to be an A-hole, but before I get to your review, I click your name.  I'll see all the 8's and 9's and then just disregard all of your reviews.  Really, what will I learn?  

Am I alone?

Frankly, if you up and down Cityvibe asian section, and this is a broad stroke, 50% are 7's or lower (in appearance), 40% are 8's and 9's (and that's probably generous).  Maybe 10% are 10's.

Similarly, if I see a guy giving a bunch of 6s, I disregard his reviews.  He's either seeing the kind of women I don't see or has an attitude or other problem that is leading to bad sessions (maybe he, too, is an A-hole).  I specifically read the guys who give high scores because they think like I do and their reviews are generally well written and entertaining.   I don't enjoy reading the reviews of the cynical guys who dis girls.  I think guys who give 9s have 9 experiences for a reason :  they do their homework, go into the session with a good attitude,  and are able to connect with the girl.  And they probably generally have a more positive outlook on life.
