Especially Asian providers. I'd think that the weekend would be a gold mine since most people don't have to go to work.

I work weekends because a lot of ladies don't.  It works out well, especial for guys who would like to actually have a good time on a Friday or Saturday rather than go to bars and wonder what will happen.  I get multi-hour regulars where I'm just their Saturday night date and it works great for both of us.  I even cook sometimes, wine, dinner, candles.  There's more time on the weekends for all of that!

weekends are dead

I do, let's just say that I'm on  call. Weekends are usually dead at least for me, my clients are more active Mon to Fri, why? because they are married or have a GF

Most of the Asians on CV are working Saturday and a fair number of Sunday as well.

No time during the week. Work, hard to get home late without a good excuse. Weekends are easy, tell the wife going to a poker game, M/C riding or just get out while she is out shopping.

Much easier, for me anyway, to use work as a cover. Step out at lunch, or leave a little early, and you don't have to make up any lame excuses for where you've been during the past hour or two. I would assume that's why there are fewer ladies working on the weekends. They know which days/hours are the most lucrative.

Going to a poker game is a good excuse.  You can be away for a long time.
