The few people I told, gave me crap about it. I love this world. To me, it is very glamorous. Five star hotels, first class flights, fine dinning, rides in Ferraris. All while getting paid to get....have fun!

Why do so many people look down upon us? If we enjoy it, screw everyone that judges.

So how many people in you life know that you either play for pay or pay for play??

XoXo

Three.

1. A longtime friend.

2 A current "associate".

3. And a former friend.

One is cool w it and always gets ripped off every time he tries.

Two? Is a player.  Hustler. And he not only gets it but wants to hear details.

Three? He'd be afraid to make the initial phone call much less meet a provider.

And yea, it's hilarious the hypocrisy, misguided judgement, soapbox morality, and the ones who've looked down on me for doing so are generally living a bigger lie than I could muster

It's just three friends and each know different levels of details.   There was one more person who knew, but he's dead.  We used to browse TER together after I discovered the site.

None of my friends gave me crap about it.  Some had paid to play before (not regularly) and others were envious.

I can't imagine that it's glamorous for all who are in the game.  It depends on where you're at in the game.   It's good that you're enjoying yourself.

I do not feel the urge to share my private life.

I have been a hobbyist and swinger off and on for over nine years.  Every single woman I have been with in the hobby has been someone who I would never have gotten the time of day from in the vanilla world.  This is an area of my life where money does buy (temporary) happiness.  I tried to share some of my experiences with coworkers, but the results were mixed.

I told several twenty something male coworkers.  They did not believe me, until I showed them my reviews and the ladies' website pictures.  They were quite impressed, but could not conceive of how they would or could participate themselves.

I told a female coworker in her twenties that I was a swinger.  She stopped talking to me and avoided me at work.

The best thing for me is to keep the hobby a secret.  Most people in the US are still not very open minded concerning sexuality.

my professional info and I know hers because our outside careers are complementary and can share clients in a professional environment.

I'm the one who does the intro or set up when we're there. And man, we have shit on each other that will bury us all.
It's funny in that when we meet at birthday parties or BBQ's, when we're together we're all thinking quietly to ourselves, "I know what you do, I know what you do"....lol

And that person and I no longer associate with each other.  He'll never say because one time we went and did a duo session in K-Town (each with his own, 2-bedroom), but he's married and rich, terrified that he would lose half of everything if his wife found out.

It's unfortunate in some ways because I've thought about heading to TJ to do some safe exploring, but am too cautious to do it solo.  No one to watch my back.

That's not completely true.  I don't tell my landlords or hotel staff.

Most people are polite and curious about it.  Several ladies have considered doing it, too, after learning about it.  And I have been seriously discriminated against because of it, too.

I love the life, too.  I don't see what the big deal is for some people.  I can only try to help change public opinion one person at a time in my own life by showing people that I do this because I really want to and that I'm a fairly well-adjusted and educated person.  I could do other things but I want to do this

People do judge like My boss or co-workers. I do it for different reason...they do it because they can't get laid.I do it for NO Strings attached FUN..no texts or phone calls after.  I don't want the drama of a relationship.  Paying is less of a headache

And old friend knows a bit.  No one know's all... except one girl on here.  Nice to have one person to be totally honest about it.

Well, then there's all of you too!
