For the ladies who would be open to sharing..... just curious, how did you first get the idea to get in the biz....what were the things that made you decide to try it and start for the first time.... and what were first meetings like? Were you nervous? I might have had only one or two girls actually mention this and I always found it fascinating.
A young hot blonde with DD's at a club we started working out together, and she noticed I was struggling with work & school to stay on the Dean's List was hard. She stopped at a hotel one night on the way to the club, and asked if I wanted to come up it would take less, than 15 minutes. I followed her, and she met a man who was from out of town at his door he had a huge smile on his face. He let us in & they started chatting. She collected $200, which she stated was the agency fee for her to show up & if he wanted entertainment her tips started at $300 to $1,000 the more you pay the longer I stay & the more fun we have...
He only had $300 more after the $200 agency fee, so she gladly took it, and I watched her take off her clothes play with herself, and he took care of his self. She washed him off with a warm cloth & we were off to pop bottles at the club. This was in 2000. I was shocked that everyone was happy, and at the time I made $9.00 an hour plus insurance from working with the school district. I was in no way ready to take the plunge, so I started answering the phones for the service, and booking calls for the agency. After a year of getting the feeling I know what guys want I started taking my own calls & reading about BDSM. I was the only escort in SD at the time who would cater to what escorts called freaks.
My 1st call was nervous, but exciting. I was naive, and gave hj with a condom because I was scared of catching something. I made $400 on my 1st call for a hj with a condom on, and it was over after that I no longer wanted to be a teacher. I graduated with honors on the Dean's List in 2001. I started my own service, and then stopped after 2 years because the girls were not reliable they had pimps, drug habits, and only wanted to work when they needed $. This is a hard business & only the strong survive.
I saw a documentary on "high end escorts" when I was 16 or 17 and found it very intriguing, but it wasn't until a few years later that I started looking into it on my own. I admit I can be somewhat of a feminist, and so I love the idea of truly independent providers who have the potential to make a wonderful living for themselves, literally by capitalizing on our natural, female charms
Additionally, I've always enjoyed the company of persons older than I. The fact that the age of hobbyists, on average, is higher than my own is simply another benefit.
Probably the major decision maker for me: Being in this biz is giving me the opportunity to save a good chunk of change so that when I am done with grad school, I can just chill and focus on my writing for a while, rather than working some 9 to 5 just to pay the bills.
I actually met an escort when I was 19. I was on a gig modeling in New York, when I discovered that one of the girls I was working with ("Ashley") was secretly in that biz. She and I worked on a promotional campaign for 5 days, and we spent the last two days with her answering my incessant questions. I even went on two dates with her (to see clients) and simply loved it! She was a sweetheart. Although she retired, we still keep in touch and she gives me great advice.
It wasn't until I turned 24 and started grad school here in Los Angeles that I FINALLY decided it's time to step into the biz. I am glad I waited. I've met some great people here and have enjoyed traveling to other cities. On top of that, I have earned an A in all of my classes so far
probably because this biz enables me more time to study study study.
I'm not doing this so I can have a life of Louis Vuitton purses and Porsche cars (although I do love the Cayenne Turbo S). Rather, I just want to live comfortably, focus on my studies & my writing, and move back to my cute little hometown in South America in a few years
To answer your other questions, YES I was very nervous! My first two dates back when I was 19, although they were spontaneous (some of Ashley's clients had been asking her about doubles, and so the day after I found out, she invited me to come with her; I received 500 each date), were great experiences---wonderful men, and Ashley was right there with me. I was so fortunate! Five years went by until my next date, which was scary! It was an outcall to a nice hotel on the west side. As I was standing at an elevator, a woman came up accusing me of being there to see her husband. She actually scared the sh!t out of me so I went to the hotel restaurant rather than the room (she was following me). I called my date and thankfully it wasn't his wife, so he came and met me. Aside from that scary first date in L.A., it's been smooth sailing ![]()
So what happened with the jealous wife? Did she realize her mistake? Were you nervous when you got in the room with your first client?

Were you nervous to see your the first provider?
Yes, I was nervous when I saw my first provider. I was 23 or 24 I think. She didn't have any reviews - I wasn't that sophisticated in my selection back then. I remember I was away with work and actually living with work colleagues. I waited til they'd gone to sleep, phoned this lady and drove 45 mins to get there. She opened up the door in her slacks saying she couldn't believe I'd made it. She then got dressed into something sexier, told me she was a swinger with her husband, then pretty much ripped my clothes off and devoured me. So I got lucky.
Nice memories.
I'm not nervous any more, of course. Haha.
Grazie to sharing!!
hugs
happy new year
Hi Carla. You and I met a while back. I was nervous for sure - and still get a little nervous, though now it's more nervous anticipation than nervous that something will go wrong. I'm sure you're aware that all you sexy ladies make all of us dumb guys even dumber - as evidenced by the fact that we will pay our hard earned money just to spend time with you. At least we're nice, though! Sometimes, at least. Anyway, I hope is well with you.
NICE hear from YOU!! mrcompletely Iong time 2011!!

LOL! I was so nervous when I saw my first provider, it was ridiculous. She was 19. I was 39. And by the way I was babbling incoherently, you'd think I was the kid! ![]()
Well I had plenty of jobs, studied in college, and got my degree in business management... And something hit me, the best thing to do is invest in myrself... So I did, I am beautiful, young, ambitious, and strong willed... I knew if I was able to take my talents and use them effectively I can make more than a job that pays 25 dollars an hour. I refused to continue to break my back for corporate business, so I decided I will become an independent escort and never looked back. My decision has been very rewarding. Smart choices of how to save money while figuring out the best avenues to get recognized I started using free ad sites, going to conventions, and joining awesome forums like these, to stay on top of the latest and greatest news. I love what I do, and this is true!
Madame Patricia, LelaCruz, Carla Dicapri and Candycrane. Thanks for the honest and thoughtful insight. I had found this very conversation with a girl I saw a quite fascinating, once we dropped the fantasy and were just talking about real life goings on and how she felt about it. What was wild was that she was barely starting out and was already making way more than my accountant! and had a pretty flexible schedule being able to decide when to take long vacations or wake up late. Most people who work know how much of a dream luxury that is.
What I was curious about was how did you know what to do your first few times out? Was it like a Farrelly brothers movie...or did it go James Bond smooth from the get go? What did you think of your experience and the client when you looked through the peephole or first met them? Turned on? Repulsed...or just antsy... I have to admit that some of the providers I have met really know how to please a man, with unbelievable innate skills.
What do you do when you look thru the peep hole and meet the guy that you are not turned on to or attracted at all to?
I bet we all look like balding chubby 60ish white men (Benjamin Franklin) to these wonderful ladies
