I have been around long enough to see lots of situations and have gone through many myself (most recently the split of my agency Lace and Stilettos). One of the many lessons I have learned is that you have to take a step back and realize everyone has their own responsibilities and expectations of and by others and unless you are wearing the shoes of someone else you can't fully understand their situation.

The split of my old agency led to myself and my partner dividing up the staff and creating our own agencies. As you can imagine, this requires a lot of coordination. One of the things high on the list was to get the reviews and agency profiles re-aligned on TER. That process was made easy with the guidance of the mod here DoctorGonzo. What I thought would be a painful and long process was quite easy when I followed the proper procedures. He was very helpful in telling what to do and I did it and poof...it was done.

I am pointing this out because I was at first overwhelmed with the thought of how to go about such a change and I was pleasantly surprised at how simple and painless the process was thanks to having someone to ask who then took the time to explain it. I don't know how mods here do all they do. They must get tons of requests for things to do, people to ban, posts to remove etc. When I stopped and thought about all they must do, I was even more grateful the this mod (DoctorGonzo) took the time to explain it all so I could get it right the first time.

Next time you get frustrated with a mod, think about what all THEIR job is (and I think they do it for free!) and what they have to deal with and then be sure you take that into consideration when you ask them for guidance. It may change your whole outlook.

The incredible amount of shit they take is mind boggling. We think we see some pretty off-the-wall posts, but I'm sure there are a lot more that we don't see, that we're better off not seeing. These guys have to wade through this crap on a daily basis. My hat is off to every single one of them.
