You should take one for the team.  Why?  Because it's old school, man!  You weren't around or interested in providers when there was no TER or internet.  Before those innovations came along we all took one for the team on a regular basis.  Occasionally, we found someone we liked and would continue to see them.  That was cool.

It was a scary, yet thrilling time I tell ya.  Were you gonna get arrested in a sting?  Was she gonna be cool?  Often you didn't know what she looked like going in, so was she going to be attractive?  Would you even get to see her?  Regarding the latter, I can tell you that before cell phones you had to go to a phone booth to make the second call.  Several times, a provider wouldn't even answer the phone for some reason and I wasted my time driving out deep into the hot valley for nothing.  Good times.

So, if you really want to have a fun and thrilling time after graduation  I recommend that you take one for the team.  And, make sure you bring change for a pay phone just in case.  That is, if you can even find a pay phone.  Remember, even if you have a very shitty time, it'll make for a great story later on after the trauma wears off.  Maybe you'll even be able to laugh about it.
