Covid Safety Measures

I bought a temperature gun to use on people before appointments. I also take my own temperature to show them as well so we can both be comfortable and enjoy our time. What are your thoughts on this? Do you feel like this is too much, too little or an adequate way to ensure safety during this whacky time in the world?

thats fine .. i would like to know a lady is being careful.   and taking temp is a minimal action,  any guy who has an issue you should immediately turn away.

It’s better than nothing and it’s easy to do, which is why it’s so popular.  It’s pretty difficult to make the business safe since you can’t social distance, and masks really reduce the fun.

Temperature checks may not be an effective screening tool for Covid due to how contagious it can be even before any symptoms might show up. But if the infected person is asymptomatic, they can still unknowingly spread the virus. In this case a temperature gun wouldn't really do any good. Also, by the time you get a high temperature reading on someone, they probably already know they're infected.

In this line of business, I don't know if there's such a thing as being safe from Covid except for maybe wearing a human sized condom - and THOSE aren't even 100% effective! (lol)

To each their own, but my situation as a Single Mom has made me stop seeing clients for high risk services. I have a temperature reader as well it is just another safety measure. I think it is what it is. We are all at risk.

Stay safe & healthy my TER friends! xoxo Smile 4 me!

when they first get there, what kind of gun do you use if they don't pay?  LOL

It's kind of like asking for a STD test that's two weeks old from a person who has unprotected sex with a dozen different people each day. Yes, I suppose it's better than nothing, and the last K-Girl I saw the day before yesterday does it, but I think you are more likely to be screening people out with the regular flu or the common cold that you are protecting yourself from COVID.

That said, screening out people with a cold, the flu, or COVID is certainly not a bad idea, so I don't see any reason not to do it. I just wouldn't put a lot of stock that you are really protecting yourself that much. It's similar to wearing a cloth mask during a session, it gives you the illusion of protection, but that's about it.

Like others have stated screening for colds, flu, symptoms, temp guns/readers etc are all fine and dandy... But SO many are asymptomatic & even if you test negative for COVID, those results are only as good as the day the test was taken... & even with that there is a margine for error!

We all could be at best case scenario carrier's at any given moment so there is a risk no matter what!

Only so much you can do at this point!

of the nearly 200,000 people in the US that have died, 94% have other causes of death listed on their death certificate BESIDES Covid.  These are the people with pre-existing conditions who were already on the fast track to the cemetery.  So out of 200,000  (rounded up slightly) deaths, 188,000 died WITH  Covid-19, but only 12,000 died FROM Covid.  12,000 is far less than the average of 60,000 that die each year from the regular flu.

I have seen over 60 providers since February with no ill effects.  I only wear a mask in places where its required to get in, which is typically less than one hour a day.  I got tested every other month, all negative. From the beginning, I refused to buy into the media hysteria over Covid.  I find it amusing to see grownups acting like scared sheep.

And one thing very important...Don't listen to anyone, other then a doctor, but especially guys on a fuck board for any advise. They don't know your situation and they sure as hell don't know shit.
Just think of them as the single guys who live in a studio apt eating Spaghetti O's out of a can...Got the picture?
So just take care and keep your wits around you.
