More years ago than I want to remember, some colleagues introduced me to this world by taking me to Circus Maximus in LA.  Does anyone recall that place?  Whatever happened to it?  Is there a similar establishment with the same quality of ladies?  McWinn

... back in its day, it was a very popular destination.

The vast majority of massage parlor business today is Asian, primarily K-girls. For an experience similar to that once afforded by clubs like CM, you need to be tapped into a networking source of  like-minded thinkers... like TER for example :P

There is nothing like CM in the LA area today but if you know which doors to knock on, there are private clubs in Miracle Mile and Downtown LA that I am aware of. you have to know someone who knows someone though, much like the screening we used to do for parties..

For those who want a bit of a history lesson, I've included a Wiki link about the former owner of CM.

Cheers.

There were several clubs of that general nature vibrant at the time. Circus Maximus Plato's Retreat, and the more exclusive A-Frame (private swing club) were the hot tickets of the day. I remember CM being on San Vicente south of Sunset; Plato's Retreat was on a side street off La Cienega. Maybe the mansion you refer to. I admit my memory may be faulty... I was definitely making a beast of myself at the time.
