Looking for a great place to take a photoshoot.

For photos, I'd aim for the Hotel Palomar, Sofitel, Intercontinental LA (suite only $50 upgrade), Luxe Sunset Boulevard ($40 upgrade for the Junior Presidential Suite), Chamberlain West Hollywood (great place for in room photo backgrounds).

Intercontinental Los Angeles has a $50 room upgrade for their suite and it's very spacious with plenty of furniture for photos. If you book it through a 3rd party site (Hotwire's Hidden Deals), you can ask for the upgrade when checking in. Suite's give you more furniture to work with.

http://www.hotwirerevealed.com/  This site is where you can find the name of the hotels on Hotwire's Hidden Hotels. It's very accurate and you can get huge deals on very nice hotels.

Another amazing site is www.lastminutetravel.com. If you search using their hidden deals option from your mobile phone you can see the name of the hidden hotels and their prices :). If you only have laptop access you can take a screenshot of the hotels photos and reverse google image search the photo to find the name of the hotel.

If you're determined to get even more backgrounds, you may want to plan to take photos around midnight-2am so you can get some shots downstairs when nobody's around. Some lobbies are just too nice to avoid :P.

thank you so much for all the info

Emy

I recently stayed at the Sofitel, and when confront with the fact that I needed to use my room key to use the elevator, my first thought was; 'well, this may not be a good place to hook up with a lady.' Did I miss something? Is there a way around that obstacle?

Sofitel is great for photos but not for play. After recently finding those two websites I listed above, now I just call new hotels in advance and ask if it has key card access elevators. I've learned the hard way that the W Hollywood, Sofitel, Andaz WH, Chamberlain WH, and London WH all have key card access elevators. I've tried putting a hidden room key in a certain spot in the lobby but it's a huge pain for the guest to find. It's never fun playing hide and seek with a room key while hotel staff is watching :P.

That makes sense. I will do the same. I'm such a bumbling mess, at times, the the anticipation of seeing a beautiful, sexy woman like you, I'd be no good, what so ever, at "playing hide and seek with a room key," with or without the hotel staff watching!   ;)

Aren't you savvy?  :-)  Cool links.  Thanks!
