Getting dumped in Paris (by a woman I took there, THAT'S a story unto itself!) was what triggered my first encounter with professional companionship.  I found myself thinking, "hmm, what would make me feel better? I know!"  And I was right!  I went down to Pigalle, which, even has its own Metro stop on the #2 train.  There's a 10 to 12 square area that has a number of bars that at first glance just seem to be bars.  Then you notice that there's an inordinate number of lingerie-clad women in them, some of them quite attractive.  I canvassed the area for an hour or so, zeroed in on my picks, did some negotiating and, voila, soon was finding out what all the fuss was about.  Did it a couple of times and found some smokin' hot (the one little blonde was about 20 and had an AMAZING body) woman who were very accommodating.  May not be your cup of tea if you're into the full-blown privacy of a hotel room but is certainly worth checking out.  Prices were somewhat reasonable as well!  Bon Chance!

Ask your taxi driver to take you to Avenue Foch.  The most beautiful girls in Paris stroll on one of its most beautiful boulevards.  They're all 9/10s, almost all have pads, and you can ask about greek.

It's been a while since I've spent time in Paris (lived there 8/9 years ago), but I know Pigalle used to a be a rip-off spot.  Perhaps it's not any more,  Just do an internet search for Pigalle rip off and you'll see what can happen.

It's usually a drink scam where they'll offer free drinks, a lady will sit w/ you and in french order additional drinks or bottles costing you an arm and leg.  This is coming from a guy who TOFTT (yup, unfortunately)

Back then I stumped upon some bars called "Club Prive" or was it "Prive Club" - which are private clubs, not in the Pigalle district, but actually near the Opera.  My buddy and I were trying to peer in the windows (tinted black) and the door open w/ women all around.  Negotiated and got a room and wow.  I went to the same spot  a few years later and it was still there.

In all honestly, if you're in Paris for a while, take a train to Amsterdam for the weekend.  Skip the red light (Yes, visit it, try it) but the best spots once again are the private clubs.  My favorite spot was Ria's, but again that was years ago.
