I really like Firenza Osteria on Lankershim.  Easy freeway access and great food.

There are lots of good place to eat in Burbank and East SFV, but more in Studio City area.  Guess it comes down to what kind of food you want to eat?

I like Chadaka Thai on San Fernando in the heart of Burbank, a half block from the Burbank Town Center mall and a lot of other shopping. Small, good service, good food. Parking can be a bear but there are a couple of large parking structures within a block, plus there's parking at the mall.

The Castaway is a unique Burbank dining experience, set up on the hill above a residential neighborhood with spectacular views of the SFV. They host a lot of large events (weddings, etc.) but also cater to small parties. The food is fine, not outstanding, but the overall experience can be very good.

Burbank also has Poquito Mas on Olive near NBC, a great fast food-style Mexican place. The food is fresh, very tasty, and reasonably priced, but there is not a lot of ambience, so it's not a place to go if you're looking for a fine dining experience.

And Burbank has every chain restaurant you could ever hope to find, if that interests you.

Morton's on Olive. There are many good places on Riverside near Toluca Lake, Mo's, Sweetsalt is great, Lucy's 51. Up by the mall there's Granville Cafe, Burbank Bar and Grille, Picanha Churrascaria, Market City Cafe and on and on...

Malbec, on Riverside, right next to Lucy's 51, for a terrific Argentinian skirt steak or ribeye, with chimichurri sauce and a darned good fritto misto appetizer to start.

Ikea

Swedish Meatballs are good there and then you can check out day beds! ;)

Seriously, Burbank is the home of many different chain restaurants. If you can think of one, it is there.

The very few unique restaurants with ambiance are:

Castaways
Morton's Steakhouse
Don Cuco's Mexican Restaurant
The Smoke House (inconsistant)
Barrgan's Mexican (Dont order the steak)

If you drive south down to the Americana in Glendale, there are several upscale restaurants there.
Damon's is another good place and its right next to Porto's Bakery! Yum!!!

Or if you drive west to Universal City Walk, there are several places as well.
