Took a trip to LA just to see one top notch provider only to get a message upon landing that the provider has to cancel because she got her period.  Think it's true, or should I take it personally?  Any suggestions for something fun to do in LA tonight to ease my suffering?

I think its bullshit that she cancelled and YES she knows when her period is cumming. She just got a better deal and more money with someone else .I would not take it personally ,but when she calls or texts you again I would let her know how you feel and dont even think about seeing her again . Spend your hard earned money on someone that will appreciate you flying out to see them .

Not too late to find a truly beautiful lady for some fun later tonight.

I am assuming that you haven't seen the provider before and that she didn't cancel on you because of anything that you did or said.

Is she aware that you flew in just to see her?  If so, did she acknowledge your travel efforts and expense or offer to make up for it?  She should do something like offer to set you up with a friend.

In the distant past, I did see a provider who was on her period, though I wasn't made aware of that fact until she showed up at my place.  I had seen her before and liked her.  The period wasn't a big deal, for the most part.

I don't know what area you're staying in, so it's hard to make suggestions.  Feel free to PM and I'll do my best.

Well thats a little harsh, (HEY IT WASNT ME ) , but just seeing how my friends in LA are going, sometimes this happens to girls, its better to not see someone if they have an issue , I think that would be even worse, if you have refernces that are many in LA I am sure that can assist.

Shit happens, and I can only guess, but that would be a GUESS and not that helpful.

There are lots of providers in LA, so I can't imagine you will have a shortage of choices.

This can happen to anyone. Mother Nature is unpredictable.
It happened to me once, but she was upfront with me about it and was willing to work something out with me, so we planned a dinner date instead.  

If she knew you were traveling to LA just to see her, why did she just cancel on you and not try to set you up with one of her friends or offer to provider a reference to another lady you wish to see.  A truly top notched lady would never do that to a guy who traveled all this way to see her.  

Im really sorry to hear this happening to you.  Not all LA ladies are like this.

I'd much rather have a provider cancel than go forward if she decided that it wasn't a good time - period or otherwise. Had I dropped the coin to see her only to find out that our activities were constrained, I'm sure I would have been disappointed. Even if it wasn't her period, if she wasn't going to be up to par that day, I'd rather have her cancel than risk a bad experience (and given the highly competitive ratings on this site, I'm sure she'd agree).  Next time I'll be sure to ask in advance whether there is any realistic chance that Aunt Flo will visit during our date.  We can all learn from my misfortune.  

Besides, this gives me an excuse to come back to LA, and next time have a contingency plan - like maybe book the evil stepmother.  Snow White may be fairest of them all, but the stepmom is pretty hot too and you know she is down to get nasty.  I bet Adonia can set it up.  

Speaking of idiotic conclusions, if you think that most or all of the providers
don't know when to expect their period you have another think coming. This is
their livelihood and they want to make sure they don't make appointments when
they have their period. They may be a day off the mark but not enough off not
to warn someone who is flying into L.A. that it is close. So think twice before
spouting off about idiotic conclusions because you have made the biggest one.

That's the exception and not the rule. In addition those girls with
unreliable periods usually take birth control pills to maintain
regularity. It's the nature of the business. Can't show up at
someone's house and leave him with soiled sheets.
