Young provider from Las Vegas with excellent reviews here on TER moving to LA the first week of September....I'm trying to make a finalized decision of whether to go Indie or Agency, and would appreciate the advice from the LA board [you all seem to be very supportive, straight forward, and honest on this board so I figured why not?].
My concerns with Agency: -The split
My concern with Indie -The safety/screening -No Incall location :[ unless I book via hotel which is expensive
So to ask my question what do LA clients prefer most [What would YOU prefer most] Agency girls or Indie girls?

in case you haven't noticed, theres an LA M&G happening in september. it might be a good idea to meet and mingle with some local people there. it cant hurt as youre trying to get your feet off the ground here in LA.
As a client, I believe that a provider that gets to keep 100% of the revenue is a happy provider. The lack of an agency means that you (the provider) gets to do much of the tedious work (scheduling, screening, advertising, etc.) but I believe that you can do all of that in between appointments. That is just my opinion....
Definitely indie please! Just stick to outcall appts only. Until you secure a good incall location to work from, there's no rush to get an incall. Plenty of providers here in LA provide outcall only. And if the client prefers incall, then have him help pay the hotel room? or set up enough appts for the day that would cover for renting the room?
