And of course if you are having enough fun during your "late night" sex, All of a sudden you notice that the sun is starting to come up and that you have transitioned into "morning sex" without ever missing a beat. lol

 
And then for those of us who drink,  and drink a LOT sometimes, I often will start with late night sex, never finish, fall asleep for a few hours and then finish what we started the night before.  I find at my "advanced age" that this happens more and more often to me, but it's one of the things I really like about having "overnight company" there is no pressure to "finish" for the second or third time after drinking a couple of bottles of wine when I know she'll be right there in the morning when finishing is so much easier for me. I do try to be considerate and make sure that "she gets her's" before falling asleep, but it's not really that important that I finish too when I know she isn't going anywhere.

It all depends on the situation and timing.  
In a perfect world, say at a resort in Hawaii after a trip to the spa, lovely dinner, enjoying the sunset and retire for a night of passion.  
Followed up be waking up together, and starting the day the right way before room service coffee.
