What's Convenient?

Hello Californians!

I am sure this has been brought up a million times before, but I have a hard time finding things on here lol.

So lets say, this cute semi-young blond gal from up north (Portland area) wanted to make a trip to this fine city (in which she has never visited). What are some convenient, safe locations that she might be able to stay in? She will probably not have a vehicle so close to stores/restaurants would be a major plus.

I know the city is huge and don't know a damn thing about it - so all input is greatly appreciated!

Also, please tell me the sun is shining and the temperature is greater than 60 degrees :)

Thanks so much in advance ;)

Marina del Rey is nice...

And it was 75 degrees last week...and is supposed to be 70 this weekend.

CC is a great area and convenient to two freeways.

Don't listen to these these chumps...lol I'm playing...but seriously don't listen to em.

I would recommend you definitely skip LAX at all costs and fly into Burbank.  From there you're much closer to the action and can stay in studio city, burbank, hollywood or west hollywood....just depends on your mood.

I second the notion.  I have had good luck in the area.  LAX tends to attract a lot of clients that tend to haggle.... It's been a while since i have been busy there myself.
