you have not gone beyond calling/ texting and  as far as I know most established bookers are very good at calling back/texting as long as you are using a local/ unblocked number. The reference system is pretty straight forward with certain bookers being more flexible than others.

I got my call picked up by Nuka's booker just now :P (she was off or done today though)
you won't get much help as there is a reason the system is set up the way it is, and it seems they are not hurting for clients as they are the best bang for your buck imho.
