OK, I don't know where to go for information or help with this. Nobody is calling off of my backpage ads. I know that a lot of the backpage ads are bogus and I'm sorry for anyone who's ever been ripped off from them. But mine is real. I have links to my reviews and my own website. Usually, I get 2 or 3 inquiries within the first hour of posting. Most of the calls don't go through, but I get a ton of them. This past week my phone has been DEAD. Nothing. I put the ads up and no one calls. Does anyone know what is going on? I checked my phone and it's definitely working. And I checked my ads and they all contain my phone number, pics and website along with rates. I put the ad under body rubs, because that's primarily what I do. I'm telling you though, the phone has not been ringing even with jokers and idiots.
Are any of you ladies having the same problem with BP? Below is an example of my ad. I'm telling ya. I was booking two to three calls a day with these type of ads. The past week and a half has been extremely slow.
Any help or advice with this matter would be greatly appreciated.
I had a bad experience on Backpage, and I know many other guys have as well. Maybe it's finally reached the point where serious hobbyists are no longer going there. Why not switch to Cityvibe? Scams there, too, but they seem somewhat less prevalent.
The reason why you get calls in the first couple of days then none later is that SO MANY ads go up, your ad gets pushed back further and further, it's turns into an old ad very quickly. If you're not posting a new ad or "move to top of page" every couple of days, your ad gets buried. Guys who look at backpage are not going to go digging for ads that are old.
Another reason is that for most of us on TER, we know that backpage is 90% BS. We've all gone through it before, dealing with ROBs, bait and switch, flakes, etc. It works both ways but for the most part a huge majority of ads on BP are not worth it. Cityvibe is a little more dependable, and if you get some guys to review you and have a review link, then your reputation, and your business, will pick up. Good luck!
Not to mention that we just passed Valentines Day. Maybe the married guys and guys w/ girlfriends had to spend their play money this week on dinner, flowers, chocolates, etc.

If I were a dope dealer I couldn't advertise..like call girls,escort agencies and strip clubs,massage parlors. Backpage,Craigslist,CV have mixed advantages::too much competition. Do your homework before advertising. Some websites will steal your business ad and repost all over the web. Its time consuming and a waste of money if you don't proposition your ad correctly. Similar to McDonalds being across the street from Burger King and Wendy's. Its your over all message and pictures that count. Bait and Switch can happen from the Yellow pages as well. Take for example Fantasy Entertainment..its owned by racist Omar from Fullerton,Calif. The girls up-sell and VIP thats owned by Stan..The girls upsell and some do F/S while some only dance. This could happen with a girl at a strip club..Also you could have a rude,drunken,racist client who could be a health risk. That a girl denies then she departs soley for health concerns. A disgruntled client then post nasty comments..There is always too sides too a story...
